MID VALLEY APPLIANCE SVC

He did arrive between the appointed times. He knew what the problem was as they had been told and he remembered the previous time he had been there. He completed the job rather quickly (under 1 hr) and did try to sell us a new water heater ( ours is 4 years old). My complaint is that I was charged MORE for this service than the prior one and this time he didn't have to "find" the problem. On the receipt he charges for " Technical Service Time" for $75.00 and a hand written S.C. ( service charge) for $85.00. I called several other appliance repair services and plunbers and was told they have a service charge and then a parts charge if parts are needed. When I spoke with Sears  I was shocked to find them cheaper by $40.00! I included e a letter to Mid Valley and told them my frustration over their charges and that I was going to write a report on Angies List to which they didn't comment.
I have 2 homes and will stay loyal to any company that I feel is fair in their charges. I am very disappointed that Mid Valley did not contact me after receiving my letter.
