They are great. Their facility is just beautiful and they have three Olympic size swimming pools, one of them is a hot pool which I used. They are an upscale facility. Their price is maybe median for what you get.

It costs $50 a month, but you get access to all their gyms. They have free weights, weight machines and an aerobic area. They also have an exercise bike with elliptical, and treadmills. It is a two story gym. They have an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor pool for families. They have a sauna, Jacuzzi and spa/hot tub. It is clean and the staff is friendly. It is a good gym. I think it is a little pricey; it could be like $10 cheaper. They are open 24 hours.

I love the pool at In-Shape Health Clubs Inc and the facility was wonderful. However, I signed up with the understanding I could get out of my contract if needed but they wouldn't let me out of my contract so I had to have my doctor write them a letter. Sometimes they said I scheduled an appointment but I didn't and sometimes I had an appointment but they didn't show up.

In-shape has excellent facilities, with lots of programs, My only problem is that I paid this facility $20 more a month ( there are 5 other In-shapes in the area) so I could enjoy the indoor pool year-round. the sales gal told me that the indoor lap pool was 80 degrees, and the nearby therapy pool was up to 20 degrees higher. i find that the lap pool is occasionally heated to an enjoyable temperature, but more often than not it decreases over a week's time to being quite chilly. How hard is it for them to take a daily temperature to maintain the temperature. I can imagine that they save a bundle by not doing so, but then, why are we paying the extra cost? I estimate that I get to use the pool only about 20 percent of the time I expected. i enjoy the cycling classes, and have cycled at the various clubs , under different instructors. The club itself has no standard for what volume the instructor can play the music, and I quit going to 3 different instructors because they believe in blasting the music, then turning up their own microphones to spew their commands, which you cannot understand most of the time because of the sheer volume. The others are mostly and quot;tolerableand quot;. One gal announced, and quot;I like it loudand quot;, then turned up the volume to ear-shattering levels, at which point you couldn't understand a word she said for instruction. Warning: take a cycling class, expect to be blasted. Some over-all club director, in charge of all the clubs, needs to sit down with all the spin instructors and set a different standard for music volume in the cycling classes. Currently there is no and quot;standardand quot; and protection for the ears of the persons on the bikes. Where did this whole idea of playing loud music start? They all, mostly, with a few intelligent exceptions, seem to do it. the instructors do a good job on the workout itself, but they way they use the music as a part of what they hope to accomplish - -yuk!! ( no problem with the actual song selections) This is a health club. What about the health of our ears?
Description of Work: This is a health club. Lots of exercise gear, pools, and multiple programs offered. There are several InShapes in the area. the fee at this particular one is $20 a month higher because of the pools and more programs. Almost worth it (see below)
