They answer the phone when you call them and show up on time.  They always do a great job.

The initial contact was very professional. They came and did a free estimate, and quoted us a basic start up as well as the monthly rate, which was only a few dollars more than our previous pool person. The first two weekly services were good, and timely. They communicated with door hangers and did a good job. All of a sudden we started getting "special" services on our bill for filter repair and parts replacement that was not approved. When we called to talk to them they informed us that "we assume that when people want full service they just don't even want to think about their pool anymore". We explained what we expected going forward that all repairs and or parts replacements needed to be first approved by us. They entered the notes into their system and apologized. The next two weeks the service looked as though it wasn't getting vacuumed. On June 30th we called to tell them that the pool person had been there and the same small pile of dirt had been in the same place for two weeks and had not been vacuumed. We received a voice mail the next morning (of the 1st) saying that they would be out on the 2nd to vacuum and they were sorry. By 4pm they had not arrived and we wanted to swim, so we called to make sure they were still coming. The manager took the call and actually began arguing with us, yelling at us telling us that he didn't appreciate being backed into a corner like we were backing him into. We reminded him that we were the customers just inquiring as to what was going on and that we were just following up on what we were told would be happening. He then continued to yell listing many things that needed to be repaired before they would do any vacuuming. To which we replied we had never heard anything about these repairs. He continued on his rant to which we finally said, this is enough and that you don't speak to customers like that. He "promised" it would be done, however with a hint of threat, that if these "repairs" weren't done they wouldn't vacuum anymore. And while I doubt it will, don't ever use this service. Funny enough, the filter is almost 30 years old, and when I clean it or when our old service did it, there were no issues. All of the sudden basically everything needs to be fixed. We were nice, and just wondering about the service as we are both in the service industry we weren't trying to cause problems. But when you pay 150 dollars per month for service you expect what they tell you they're going to do. Good luck if you hire them.
