AL'S FURNITURE

These two recliners are by far the worst pieces of furniture we have ever owned. We have now owned them a little over two months and you would think they were years old. The material used to stuff them has no memory, so they have flattened out terribly - one actually feels like fabric covered plywood. My wife tried to move one of them so she could vacuum and got a nasty puncture in the palm of her hand from a sharp staple sticking up from the back cushion. We wrote a letter of complaint to Al's Furniture after we had these chairs for 6 weeks but never heard a word back from them. We have since gone to Hansen's Furniture in Modesto and purchased two Lazy Boy recliners - obviously what we should have done in the first place. This was a rather expensive lesson in buying quality. We will never shop at Al's Furniture nor would be recommend it to anyone.

I do not remember how much it cost, but I know that they were in line with the rest of the market. They are a family business, so the are very friendly, helpful and their integrity is very high, so if you have a problem they will deal with it. We had a problem with some glass getting broken on delivery and they came out and fixed it. They will take away your old stuff for you.
