Woodstone Mouldings

All went well.  The crown moulding and baseboard work was great.  We had a slight miscommunication on my drawing/ concept for some custom made bookcases but Phil gladly adjusted his work to meet my expectations.  All of the work was very professional and beautifully crafted.  The job area was cleaned up at the end. While the contractors were in our home, they were quiet (no loud radios) and very courteous.  I would definitely recommend them.

Working with Woodstone Moulding was a very positive experience from beginning to end. Woodstone is a small family owned and operated business, bringing many years of experience and expertise in their field. Daryl was prompt and spent time to present ideas and cover details during our initial estimate meeting. One of the best parts of the final job, was a suggestion from Daryl to replace the mouldings around the upstairs doors. I would have never thought of that, and it wound up making a big architectual impact when completed. Another very important part of the initial first meeting, is being shown a library of pictures of actual work completed by Woodstone. In researching all the companies used during my overall remodel project, I quickly realized that many companies use stock photos of what they can do, not pictures of what they have actually done. Woodstone does not publish anything other than the work they have completed for their customers.
The installation process for Woodstone is VERY impressive. They have mobile workstation, where all the sawing takes place, in a dust free process. Phil is the master carpenter, and works with his team of installers to make all of the precision cuts while the team is installing. The whole team worked as a well oiled machine installing everything. Woodstone also takes extra steps during installation, including using a hot glue gun to secure appropriate joints to ensure they don't expand over time. I had crown moulding installed years ago, and many of the joints have split, and require caulking to repair. Woodstone stands out by ensuring they use glue and other methods to secure joints. I doubt many other companies pay attention to detail like Woodstone.
Very prompt and communicated arrival times for each day. Very good clean up and not a trace of sawdust outside where all the cutting took place
Overall a great experience and would highly recommend Woodstone if you are looking to have any type of moulding project completed by a highly experienced, professional company.
