"It must be noted that the problems that arose were not due to the drain lines or irrigation per se. No, the concern of the client was of the "grading" of the sod/soil so that the water would move towards the drain locations. The client became concerned when rain started BEFORE the sod was installed (hence the project was not finished) and water accumulated in the soil, especially where foot prints were located, as would be expected. While a lack of communication did exist with the workers themselves, installing 150 sq ft of sod does not warrant a foreman. The client wanted the soil perfectly inclined towards the drains, and this was done."
"After we called in the final inspection we requested payment on the assumption that everything has passed. The inspector did not pass because the wall was about 5 inches to high, so we took off the top course and recalled the inspection and it passed. If the issue with the debris had been brought up we would have addressed it. Please note, one does not use nails or wood to build a block wall."
