Jack removed the old sprayed-on ceiling, and gave me the smooth finish I wanted. Only took a few hours. Very clean and neat.

Hired them for stucco repairs, wood patio cover repair, interior trim repainting and complete exterior painting of all surfaces. Jack was very professional, responded to all concerns quickly and very straight forward. Crew was very clean and professional. We had an issue with the stucco paint color turning a different color less than a year later and Jack immediately responded that he would repaint the surface under warranty (bad Behr paint). Overall quality of work was Fantastic! Would use them again!

Jack and Brian are true painting pro's. Jack did a great job installing crown molding and 7 new doors/casings and trim. Set up a spray booth to paint the doors and moldings in the house. As a result no brush marks in the finish. They look great.Very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. Highly recommend.

It was wonderful working with Jack Van Every and MFK Painting. Rarely have I had an experience working with a contractor of his quality. Jack and his crew painted my entire Laguna Beach condo, installed new light fixtures, installed 3 ceiling fans, painted the outside decks etc. His communication skills are amazing. His price was very fair too. Jack's team started and completed the job within the timeframe they gave us, which was very short. Did I say he is an excellent communicator? This is one of his biggest strengths. This is a second home for us, so we weren't there while he did the work. He is very trustworthy, nice and easy to work with. His work is very professional and I would easily refer his company to anyone. His company can do much more than painting too.

They did a Beautiful job painting the inside of our home and repairing and replacing all the drywall,casings and baseboards that was torn apart from the restoration company. These guys came in and knocked the job out in 24 hours. It was hot as hell outside but they jumped on the work and did a great job. Definitely satisfied with their work.

I would give him five stars on everything to do with his work, everything to do with showing up on time, and anything else you might name., He did a great job and I would recommend his company to anyone. He even did a little bit of extra work. He also put up some outside lights for us at no extra charge. The lighting job was a simple job and did not require an electrician. He was very nice and polite, and kept us informed of everything that needed to be done.

Started when he said he would. There every day until the job was done. Did exactly what we agreed upon. Finished when he said he would. Very pleasant and easy to work with. And a good job. We're happy.

We received multiple quotes to paint the exterior of our home. Jack's bid came back the most competitive and was able to get started right away. Not only that, but he is the one who was at the house everyday painting (found it strange not too many other painters do that). Paint looks fantastic he did a wonderful job! Would absolutely recommend him.

A small touch up job after new bathroom tile was installed, he arrived on time, completed the work as ordered, and charged what we agreed upon.
