Hardwood Flooring Service, Flooring
I had Kingdom install ~750sqft of laminate flooring in my home, I found them through an add in the Penny Saver. I had purchased all of the materials separately. They came by to give me a quote and seemed knowledgeable and we agreed to start work later that week. The installers arrived on time, and get started. In preparation for the work I had read all of the installation instructions for both the flooring and the underlayment (moisture barrier, foam pad combo - installation on concrete footing). I had to work so I told my wife a few of the key details to look for to make sure they were installing things correctly. Sure enough, they immediately start the installation incorrectly by both installing the underlayment upside down (foam side down rather than plastic side down) and by taping the sections together with a cloth based tape (duct tape), which is not moisture proof and therefore defeats the whole point of having a moisture barrier in the first place. No big deal, we caught it early and remedied the issue. Then they start installing the laminate. I wrongly assume that this is about as easy as it gets as the only real rule for installation is to allow an adequate expansion gap all the way around the floor. When they are finished, I can't see many of the edges because they are under trim pieces and end molding, but in some of the places I can see it is obvious that the gap is inadequate. The installer assures me that it is fine so I pay them and they leave. After a day I am already starting to notice places where the floor is bowing up and by a week later there are some places where it is getting worse. We tried to call them to come back and fix the problem, at least 10 times, with no response. I even had my wife call and pretend to be a new customer just to get them on the phone, but no luck. Here we are a month later ripping up the end moldings and manually trimming all of the floor edges in place. What a PITA! Do NOT use Kingdom flooring!

Hardwood Flooring Service, Carpet Installation
The work is performed by very young Spanish-speaking boys/men. They cut the wood in the garage creating sawdust all over everything in your garage and leave the door from your garage to your home open, so the sawdust invades your home as well. They do not put a layer between the 2x4s and the wood nor are they careful to apply the glue. The result....squeeking floors. They're repair job...drill wholes into your new wood floor to apply more glue. They NEVER came back to repair the wholes they made. In addition, plan on dirty hand prints all over your walls, furniture, everywhere. I do not recommend using this company EVER!
