Karen is an excellent interior designer who has been patient with my frequent indecisiveness. She really pays attention to my concerns and style preferences while also encouraging me to try things I might not have otherwise considered. She knows how to create beautiful, comfortable spaces.

She is very timely, open to my likes and dislikes. I'm enjoying working with her.

Karen is extremely responsive. She spends time with us discussing every aspect of the project. She listens carefully to fully understand what we like and want and what we don't. She comes up with good ideas and we are enjoying working with her.

Karen listened to our wants for color and textures and used what we already had in our house. What developed was an outstanding array of paintings, rugs and mirrors. Our house is exactly how we wanted it.

Karen has the ability to understand and has and intuitive sense of color, function and style that she brings and provides solutions.

Karen Kirkwood is wonderful! She has a good eye for design and overall I am very pleased with her work. I would highly recommend her!

Karen did a great job. We weren’t certain about what to do with our dated kitchen. Her remodel design included new cabinets and appliances, creating an island bar and work space, new tile counter tops, new sink, and backsplash, and hard wood flooring in the kitchen running into the dining room. All of that with removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room to create an open space and sight line. That with French doors where there was a window in the dining room to access the backyard transformed our kitchen and dining room from the 80’s to 2015. We are so pleased with the outcome.

Karen was amazing at transforming my guest bedroom into a beautiful bedroom for my daughter. Her bright and bold color combinations along with her children's furniture designs are just amazing. We get so many compliments on our daughter's bedroom. It's been a pleasure referring Karen to others that are looking to re-create a room or entire house.

Karen is a true professional! I gave her an idea of what I wanted as far as an overall look for my home, and she made it look fantastic! From the art and the furniture she picked for me, to the way she brought the rooms to life... truly beautiful! I would highly recommend Karen!

Karen went $8,000 over budget and never finished the project. She then kept our $4,000 deposit. The people she scheduled to work in our home either didn't show up or were unlicensed contractors. Her design ideas lacked any thought and she was unable to properly measure the lay out of the rooms which caused the ordering of the wrong size items, which Karen made me pay for. I would not recommend Karen Andrea Designs to anyone. UPDATE: Do not hire this company. Karen was hired to remodel our home. She took our money, never finished the project and we had to sue her in small claims court. We won a $4,105 judgement and she then filed bankruptcy ( case #9:16-bk-11207-PC) so she didn't have to pay us. Her designs were thoughtless, the subcontractors she recommended were sub-par and the items she ordered for us were of very poor quality. I don't understand how other people have rated her so highly. Don't risk being disappointed with this person and losing your money. Don't hire Karen Andrea Interior Design.
