I was given a prompt estimate over the phone for the purchase and installation of a retractable screen for my standard-sized front door, which I appreciated because I wanted to have the screen installed ASAP. It was a very reasonable price and they were able to install that same week, which the big chain stores I initially looked into couldn't do. The installer showed up promptly as scheduled, was friendly and professional. He brought a few different colors for the tracks and casings to choose from, based on my initial phone call and what I told them I was interested in. There were many other custom colors that could be ordered, but fortunately one of the standard colors he had on hand matched my door trim perfectly. He did the job in about 30 minutes, which amazed me because my neighbor installed one of these himself to save money and it took him a few frustrating hours to get everything aligned, yet his screen still doesn't open and close as smoothly as the one EJ's installed. The installer made sure everything was aligned perfectly, opening and closing smoothly, magnets latching properly. I absolutely love the screen door and just about everyone who comes to the door compliments it. Be prepared though for visitors who leave the house and walk right into it because they aren't familiar with it and don't see it! That has happened three times, and also my cat climbed it twice when it was brand new (a couple squirts from a water bottle trained her real fast to stay off it, which she has since.) As EJ's told me, they only install the best quality, and so the screen is still in perfect condition a year later, and still aligned and working properly, despite the abuse. Will definitely use use EJ's again in the future if I need to re-screen, and also for window blinds that need replacing and are on my to-do list of improvements.

Called them to schedule the install, their schedule is pretty packed, so closest appointment time was on a friday morning.  They showed up on time and the installer and his helper went to work right away.  The installer definitely knew what he was doing, looked like he had done tons of installs before.  So I asked him about it and he said he had probably done about 15,000 of these installs over the years!  So, they were done in less than 45 minutes, cleaned up the work area, and the new screen door looks and works great!  They also left a small can of spray lubricant for the sliding track.

I contacted many different contractors from Angies List and sent them a picture of the Built-in entertainment center in our home and an explenation that I was buying a larger tv and would need a new unit that looked similar.  Chris Black was the only one that looked at the picture and noticed that it was built in 3 pieces and suggested that he could rebuild the center piece and then re-paint the unit, which would be substantially cheaper than demolishing and building a whole new one.  This is what we decided to do and it came out fantastic.  His work was beautiful, he replies right a way to texts and emails and had the honesty and integrity to give us a less expensive option.  We will definitely be using him again for a few other things we want to do in our home.

Submitted a quote request through the website, i included the measurements for the door where the retractable screen door would go. Got a quote the next day for $350, then they came out about a week later and the door was installed in less than 45 minutes. Door looks and works great.  I didn't get any other quotes, he came highly recommended so figured you get what you pay for.

Chris came and gave me an estimate and the names of places to pick out granite and tile.  Started the next week and watched it all come together.  I have worked with both Eric and Chris before for carpentry work, window coverings, electrical and had a master closet put in.
They always do a great job and would recommend anytime.  Very happy and would use their services again.
