I just closed escrow on my first home and Doug was with me every step of the way. He had been recommended by a friend whose opinion I hold in high regard. From the very first phone call, I could tell I was in good hands, and he was awesome throughout the entire loan process. I can't imagine working with anyone more on top of it than he was. Being a retired couple made things a bit more difficult, especially having my husband on disability. However, Doug let us know that we could use our retirement accounts as income, which wound up being the clincher for us! Something NO other lender had been able to tell us about or possibly know about for that matter! Not only did they come thru, they delivered in UNDER the 30 day estimate we were originally given, now THAT was a Christmas miracle for us, no house payment til January 1st, WOOHOO!!! We had decided to re-finance our mortgage for a lower rate and after  checking on Angie’s List, we found Doug Davis (Alpine Mortgage Planning) and gave him a call….   just to check on the current interest rates.   Doug was very friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable about working with him.    After getting some initial information from us,  he suggested that we hold off a few days because he felt that the rates would be dropping a bit in the near future.     After a week or so, Doug gave us a call and said that it was time to move, so we started the re-finance process in earnest.

 

Doug and his assistant, Ismael, were great and kept us on our toes about getting all the necessary paperwork to them.    We were always kept in the loop of what was happening and always felt that Doug and Ismael were very invested in our re-finance process.

 

As much as we hate all the paperwork involved in any type of financing, Doug and his team made things fairly pain free.

Doug took our information, ran the numbers and qualified us to buy a new home. Because we were selling our old house, it got a little complicated in the beginning. Doug and his team ironed out all the wrinkles and funded our loan in 30 days. He was very accessible. He always got back to us when we had questions and/or concerns. Doug helped us refinance our mortgage so we wouldn't have to pay Mortgage Insurance anymore.  It was much faster than expected.  The entire refinance took about 30 days from the go ahead to Doug and his team to signing loan docs.


We called Doug based on great reviews on Yelp and Angieslist.  He was spent a lot of time on the phone going over the potential saving benefits with me and my wife, but given the the loan rates at the time it just didn't make sense to me.  A few weeks later i got a txt message from Doug saying that rates had dropped.  We went over the numbers all over again and and this time the savings was enough for us to go ahead with the refinance.  


It went great.  It was really easy to work with Doug and his associates.  We didn't even have to meet in person (which made us nervous), but everything worked out great.

Doug is an amazing mortgage broker!  We had a very challenging re-fi and he got it done where other failed.  Doug walked us thru the entire difficult process. He is extremely thorough and addressed all of our concerns. He is very pleasant to work with and has an excellent staff.

Doug has a lot of experience and found us the best rates and mortgage for me.
I was purchasing the property as a first time homeowner and also as a single woman and Doug made me feel like he was for me the entire time. I went to Doug after I fired another broker who said, "these are all boring numbers, you don't need to know all the details!"
Doug, on the other hand, spent 90 minutes on the phone the first time talking me through everything. We ended up dealing with a seller's broker from h*** who wanted to control the entire process. Despite that, Doug remained calm and professional and had all the right answers for me. I also had him fill out an excel spreadsheet for me which he did without complaints! 
I have a very busy job and not available easily but Doug and team made sure I got them all the paperwork that they needed by constantly nudging me and keeping me apprised. 
We had to get an extension on escrow (seller's agent from h***!) and Doug paid for the loan lock extension and contributed to closing costs to make sure the deal didn't fall through. In the end, Doug and his team made sure the loan was funded in less than 2 weeks! It was amazing to see their attention to detail, professionalism and integrity. 
The whole process from start to finish to include the closing went smoothly and without any issues despite many complications! His professionalism and staff made buying this house painless and a great stress less process. Thank you Doug!

ok so far I have gone through two home loans with Doug well refinance really but any more one doesn't seem any different then the other. they both take a ridiculous amount of time,paper work,faxing,emailing and blah blah blah. well the good thing is Doug makes a lot of this simplified and straight forward with his work ethic and working style. from the beginning you get all the information you need and a detailed list of everything he will need . after getting all the options sorted out and choosing what I wanted to do with my finances the whole process was fairly easy going. I was always kept up to date on what was going on or what step we were in through out the refinance. I truly have no complaints against Doug which is rare in this world for something to go so well. now the banks on the other hand and what they want from you well that's another story. thanks Doug for everything you have done for me and my family.
