During the bidding process Robert made us very comfortable, he goes over all of the details on every phase of the project, the associated costs and potential project risks, trade-offs and other decisions that need to be reviewed beforehand so there were no surprises after things got started.  The progress payments were tied to work delivery, so we never felt any anxiety over having to push for completion, they really did make this easy.
Our project included the ripping out of interior walls to open up a large living area, and removal of our entire level?s hardwood flooring.   Then it required the pouring of new concrete and laying down large marble tiles on our first floor (~1800 sq feet of marble).  They also did other work like increase our master closet by moving a wall, refinished and re-stained our wooden staircase and painted the entire interior. 
All of the work was absolutely beautiful and they took the time to do it right.  For example, our marble tiles were arranged diagonally, which is more labor intensive and difficult, but they installed everything with precision and care.  Robert is also very experienced with the permitting process and helped guide us through everything we needed.
All of his tradesmen (painters, drywall, electricians, woodworkers etc.) were also very professional, Robert really stays on top of
things and proactively provided us with status updates to ensure we were comfortable with the progress.  No contractor horror story here and we?ve continued to hire Robert for other improvements following this project!

Look no further! Robert is licensed which was important to us. Most of the people that work for him have been with him for over 10 years. He was very detail oriented, professional, easy going and if we ever have to use another contractor he is the only person we would go to! We have referred him to friends. He works mainly in Orange County as well as from LA to San Diego. They were always cleaning up, and papering the floors, and they really took care of our home. He has been in business for about 25 years now and has a stellar reputation. We were on the same page as far as pricing and he has worked for us for about three months. Our project completes in two weeks. Communication went smoothly and he can always be reached by phone. If you want a honest and outstanding contractor he is the guy to go to.
