Alterations/Sewing/Decorating
Several months ago, a cleaners/alterations business in Mission Viejo told me they couldn't take in the waist of two pair of men's khaki's beause the slacks had a double stitched (flat-felled) seam. I knew enough about sewing to know that the seams couldn't be let out, but it could be taken in. The business representative just seemed not to want to do the work.
So, after doing some research, I tried Andy's Tailoring and Cleaners. The lady there said there would be no problem taking in the waists. The completed work was excellent, and the price was less expensive than the first alterations business I tried.
I have since taken other items of cloting to Andy's for alterations or dry cleaning and the work has again been excellent.
