I had an appointment with a major company to do this, but thought I'd shop around and was happy I did. Called Raymond's, they came out the next morning and within an hour I had a new windshield installed. Not as sexy as the big companies, but who needs that when you can save $80+ bucks.

Ray replaced my neighbor's windshield so I made an appointment for the next day to replace mine. We rescheduled until today since he was running late for the previous appointment. He and Juan were prompted, efficient, friendly and completed the job within 45 minutes. I have recommended him to a friend. Job well done. Thank you!!

It went perfectly. I called them ahead of time to let them know make/model of car. They came to my home on same day (or perhaps next day - can't remember), did the work in the driveway, which took maybe an hour and they cleaned up afterwards. Afterwards we put 5000+ miles on the vehicle and it performed perfectly, no leaks or whistling or blurry glass. (Another installer I used many years ago did a very poor job on a different car and the glass "whistled" due to a leak.) I've used them previously for a different car with a stone chip, and the work was excellent then as well.

I called for a quote at 0945, He asked the year make and model, and I waited while he checked, I was quoted $150.00. (Safelite was going to charge $360 recommended by my insurance) So I said ok lets schedule the replacement of my windshield. He asked if I wanted to do it today, I asked what time and he said he could be at my house at 12:30. I agreed and said that I would just go into work late. At 1:30 I called and asked if he was on the way, he said 20 minutes. They arrived at 2:10. The replacement was done by 2:40. My neighbor had come out to speak to him about her windshield and he was getting a quote for her. He wrote down $195.00, she thought because it was a different car. When he handed me the invoice to sign, it said $195.00 and I said you quoted me $150.00 on the phone this morning. He started to say well I had to do....but never completed his sentence. Then he said I'll change it to $180.00.They were spanish speaking and I felt that I couldn't really communicate well with them. The reason I use Angie's list is so that I don't have to deal with someone changing the price or doing poor quality work. They left some pieces of rubber on the inside of my car...I can't really judge whether it was a good job until tomorrow, when I remove the duct tape.

The service was very good. Many businesses called were unable to get the glass or unwilling to look. This company returned my call, ordered the glass and installed it on the motorhome in our driveway. Wold recommend them.

After getting a minor hit on the windshield on the freeway that quickly developed into a 12+ inch crack, I started shopping around. Lexus dealership wanted $2100, Safelite quoted me $1400-1500, aftermarket shops ranged from $300-650. I chose Raymond's for four reasons, 1) it was a word of mouth referral from a friend who had her Mercedes windshield repaired, 2) the price was reasonable, 3) they offered next day come to your home service, and 4) the woman on the phone was able to tell me the glass they had in stock was good Pilkington made in the USA glass. I researched Pilkington and found that 1 in every 3 cars has Pilkington manufactured glass so I considered this glass to be high quality. You'd probably want to ask what glass you'd be getting. Two guys came out to install the glass. They arrived a few minutes before the appointment time. Service was done pretty quickly and the guys cleaned up everything so there was no evidence that they were there. I recommend these guys but realize that future results may vary based on glass and the installation team.

Their price was so low that I was shocked. The person who came was very nice and the windshield does not leak.

Thieves had smashed my car window overnight, but I had an early meeting so I drove it to work and called Raymond's from there. They gave me a good (and as it turned out, accurate) quote and said a worker would be at my office around 11, which was precise enough for me. The man who came was friendly and easy to work with, but he arrived a little over an hour late. Again, not a big deal. Then he realized that the replacement window that he had for me was tinted, even though I'd said in the initial phone call that this car did not have tinted windows. I gave him my car key. He left to get the right window, came back, and installed it, called me at my desk, and I came down. The actual installation was very satisfactory; the window looks great and is working great. The problem was that the vacuum on his truck was not working (it seemed that its electrical cord had been cut off). That meant he was not able to clean up all the broken glass all over the inside of the car, so I ended up doing that myself later that evening. Again, not a big deal, but "cleanup included" seems standard in the auto glass replacement business, and I'd been looking forward to get that done as part of the deal. The real problem was that in replacing the window, he naturally could not help but get lots of bits of broken glass from the old window on the floor of the parking garage. I'm sure that he would have cleaned up this part too, if his vacuum had been working or if he had had a broom or something. But I didn't want to be responsible for broken glass in the garage, so after the worker left, I used a hunk of Kleenex tissues and the cover of a CD case to sweep up all around the work area. In the end, I got a good replacement window, well-installed, but no cleanup in or outside the car, so I ended up spending a lot more time and energy on this problem than I'd planned. I can't blame the worker though -- he seemed like a conscientious guy who was doing the best he had with what he had.

I was extremely satisfied with Raymond's work. He was punctual and cleaned up the glass in the car. I felt the price was reasonable and the window seems to be working fine. I would definitely recommend Raymond and would use him again. If I were him however I would mention that tax is not included when he quotes a price.
