Work never started. Via telephone message to Pascaul, I rescinded the job the next day and requested that he return my check. I called my bank to cancel payment and found out that he immediately cashed my check. When I was able to get in touch with him, he said he would mail a check the next Friday. It never came. I called back and he said that he would stop by to return the $500. He never showed up. I also discovered that he was using a license belonging to a previous partner whom I spoke with, and was told that their relationship ended and that Pascaul was not supposed to use that license. I filed a complaint with the CSLB to try and retrieve my money.
Description of Work: Pascaul Reyes, Socal Hardscape & Landscape, was to lay brick/stone pavers for a patio and walkway. He requested a check for $500 for a deposit. He apparently works out of his home at 6451 Tigers Eye Court, Mira Loma, CA 91752. Cell ph: (949/315-0417).
