PRECISION TRANSMISSION

My car had been running hotter than normal, so I took it to Henry to see if there might be an issue with the radiator or cooling system. He troubleshooted the problem and determine that the plastic tank that held the coolant had deteriorated (the car is over 20 years old) around the connector to the hose. He replaced the tank, and the hose, for a nominal fee. He even cleaned the inside of my windshield, which was terribly foogy due to a film that had collected. This is demonstrative of the type of businessman Henry is. He wants nothing less than satisfied customers. I first met Henry when I had taken my old Saturn to him to get my automatic transmission replaced, over 4 years ago. He completed the work and returned the car, but a few days later I started experiencing the same issues with the transmission failing to change gears. I took the car back and Henry disassembled it and cleaned a few of the parts further to see if that might be the issue. A few days later, I had similar problems. He asked if I had an alternate vehicle (which I was able to borrow from a friend) because he would like to keep the car for a little while to find out why the problem was still occurring. Being a transmission expert, the problem did not make sense. He kept the car for almost 7 weeks -- he did research, changed other parts relating to the transmission, even replaced the new transmission again to see if it was defective -- bottom line, the problem was that the car's computer was faulty and causing the mechanical systems to malfunction. A new computer ran for about $700, but Henry searched around and found a used computer in excellent condition for $125. He never charged me for more than the first visit and initial transmission replacement. The secondary transmission, parts, computer, and subsequent labor were covered by him. He felt so terrible that I had been through so much trouble and insisted that if his daughter had gone to get her car fixed, he'd hoped that someone would do whatever they could to get her car running safely again. He is truly one of the nicest and most genuine businessmen I have ever met. I can't enough positive things about Henry and his team.
