We had a major plumbing job planned and the plumber recommended C Cruz to locate the gas, sewer and water lines in the front. They showed up on time and did a through survey, marked everything clearly and even helped diagnose an oddity in our sewer line that helped us select the right kind of sewer line replacement method. They also gave us some suggestions on relocating the water lines when the time comes. We walked away with a DVD of the sewer line inspection and more confidence. And when PG&E failed to show up to mark the gas lines, we were able to direct the diggers to work on another area until they finally moseyed their way to our house.

We had water bubbling up at the edge of our front yard. We first hired a landscape service to check out our sprinklers. He wasn't able to trace down the source after some digging. We then hired a plumbing company who recommended us to contact Chris after more digging. Chris called back soon after I left a voice message. He asked if I was sure I have a leak. At first, I thought it was a very silly question, but it turned out he hit the nail on the head. He explained to me how to check the water meter to make sure the leak was from our property. I didn't see any movement of the little triangle on the meter yet the water kept on sipping out from that big hole in our yard. I turned off the water main and still see water coming out of the hole after a couple of hours. I called Chris again and he immediately suggested me to contact the water company and coached me on what information to give to the water company. He also kindly agreed to keep our appointment while I sort this out with the water company. The water company just came by and the technician suggested it's likely leaking from the water main that runs under our front yard. We are waiting for the water company to send more people here to do more testing. I'm very grateful for Chris' advice on how to handle the situation. He has our interests in mind instead of trying to get business for himself. And he's very knowledgeable, responsive and professional. I strongly recommend him.

We needed to trace a buried and hidden rusted galvanized 3/4 pipe to determine where we could get access to it. Also to determine how it was fed with water. The line was capped at one end which made some of the job easier. Chris Cruz took the job on 2 hour short notice , arrived as promised and promptly set to work. Within an hour or so, we had traced what we needed to. Clearly tracing pipes in the ground requires experience. Chris had good sense of what was going on and was not fooled by spurious signals. We found exactly what we needed.
