Studio Marler Cabinetry

Given the cost of these cabinets, I expected them to be both flawless and durable. They are neither. They are, however, good-looking and functional. They are "eco-friendly" European-style (frameless) wood-veneer cabinets of Studio Marler's "Studio Classic" line. Dealing with this company has been a major headache from start to (pending) finish. They and their agent (All About Kitchens and More - see separate review) were 5 weeks late delivering a quote. The delivery date was set for 6 weeks after the order was submitted and the 50% deposit was paid. Some of the cabinets were delivered 2 1/2 weeks late. Most of the cabinets were delivered 4 weeks after the promised delivery date. There were several parts that were not as ordered and had to be fixed. It was another 3 weeks until the work was completed. We had to have the installation contractor come three times. One piece, baskets for the pantry pull-out, has still not arrived a month later. The cabinets have numerous minor flaws such as nicks and rough edges. The veneers seem to scratch and chip easily. I am afraid they will not hold up under normal wear.
