Local Color's crew painted my house neatly, quickly, and beautifully, all the while I was home-bound recovering from a surgery. They were courteous, efficient, and skilled, and didn't mind a bit when I was picky about colors, or wanted special things done. The communication with owner Bruce Nelson was excellent, who presented me with options and a very fair price for the work, and personally introduced me to each member of the crew. As a decorative painter I am myself terribly picky about the quality of work I see and 5 years later I am still very pleased by the good work done in my home and how well the job has lasted. Since that time it has been my pleasure to refer SF Local Color to dozens of my own clients, in large part because of my very positive experience having this company work on my own home. I highly recommend them to anyone who really cares about the quality of work in their home.

I can't recommend these folks highly enough. Everything was excellent, thanks to the outstanding crew of Local Color. Everyone was extremely keen to do the best possible job with no hassles. The whole crew were very skilled, no smoking on site, no radios, very responsive to evolving specs, complete cleanup every day. Bruce Nelson was on the job regularly, and responded within an hour to email at any time of day (he carries an iPhone). Great care in managing the scaffolding. Worked well with colorist and used the particular kind of ultra-premium paint I wanted, with attention to quality application. Worked well with other restoration going on at the same time. These folks are dedicated to doing the job right, and provide all the advice needed to get the best result. This is not the first time Local Color has painted our house--the first time was 17 years ago, and the senior people then are still with the company! Since that first time we have not even asked anyone else to bid.
