Home Services of Marin began during the Real Estate boom of the previous decade, specializing in working with sellers, agents and buyers preparing homes for sale and for new occupants. We are able to solve the myriad of household adjustments and annoyances that are too varied and/or minor to justify the hiring of a contractor: 'sticking' doors; sliders that don't operate smoothly; replacement of non-grounded or non-code electrical fittings; repairs of minor and major appliances; pressure-washing of decks, walls, driveways, walkways and masonry; interior and exterior painting; interior and exterior lighting design and installation; plumbing repairs; appliance installation; closet and garage organizing; fence installation; yard cleanup and hauling; telephone, electrical, and entertainment system wiring and installation; and so on. We excel in unique and custom solutions to unusual household problems. Over the years we have added other client bases: families in which Dad has little time to deal with the "honey do" list, and an ever-increasing number of retired seniors to whom we offer special rates (minimum age 70). Our current rates (2011) are $65./hour, travel time from Southern Marin charged at half, and "will not exceed" flat rates can be quoted on a per-job basis.
