Everything went well as far as getting the estimate and their price but I've just been waiting for my company to approve the work.

Brandon was very professional. He did what he said he would do. They were on time and painted what he said he would do. He cleaned up and left some paint, when I requested some, to do touchup after I do additional work in the garage. I did not have any surprises with the work they performed. The masking was good with no surprises when they were done and the painted garage exceeded my vision of what it would look like.

I give Brandon an average performance overall because he & his helper weren't real picky about doing an outstanding job. They missed a lot of spots of moss on the low wall and just painted right over them so I will have to go over those areas. Also, in the areas where Brandon patched the cracks, you can see the repairs through the paint. I told him I wasn't happy and he did come back and paint over the cracks again, and when I could still see the repairs, he said sometimes that's just how it is. I told him "If that's how it is, then how come I don't see repairs in other stucco buildings that have been painted?" But, at least he DID come back like I asked so I give him points for that. Brandon's a charmer and seems eager to please (at first) but the paint job was just average. He was one of the cheapest bids, so I guess you get what you pay for. It took him a little longer to patch/repair the wood trim and stucco than he thought it would so he did take a little longer to finish the job, but basically, he showed up when he said he would (although he DID start the job a week later than we agreed on).

Brad Ellison, the painting contractor was a very pleasant young man and very personable. He was willing in many ways to do little extra things but when they left, they left things not returned to their original location, things like potted trees and such that I could not manage to move. I had to finally hire somebody for that. I was upset and I was angry, but I didn’t call them to say they need to come back and do this because I wanted to be done with it, so in all fairness, I didn’t give him a chance to fix it. They basically left a mess and I was upset. My problem was with the cleanup part of it. They left a huge pile of the paper that they use to mask off the windows, when they spray paint and they pulled that off, crumbled that up, and left it over flowing in our garbage can on the driveway. They didn’t ask when it would be picked up or anything, they just left it and it was piled up way above the top of the containers, so before the wind blew it all over the neighborhood, I had to go out and take it off myself and try to condense it and put it in something else. I called him and asked him to come back next day to finish the job that I had most of which taken care of. We had to go out of town the next day and when we came back everything was nice and neat, and the garbage can was put away. However, he dropped by that day and I thought he came by to say he finished up everything but he came by to say sorry, to say that he forgot to come and cleanup. So apparently, the one of our neighbors would have done all the cleaning. So whoever did wasn’t he and that was really uncalled for.

This company had installed laminate floor at a friends house and they gave them high marks so when we decided to do floors and trim we gave them a chance. He came over measured the job and gave us an estimate. It seemed reasonable for the job so we had him schedule it for us. They put in the floors and trim fine, but when they mounted the doors they did not recess the hinges into the door, they just surface mounted the hinges. The doors work fine, but because of this look a little odd. They were also a bit messy when they did the touch up painting after everything was installed. This was a little surprising since they are billed as a "painting and home repair" company. You would think the painting would be the part they do best. We were trying him out to see if we would use them for other jobs, but after this I don't think we will.

THE QUALITY OF THEIR WORK WAS HORRIBLE. THE WINDOW AIRCONDITIONER WAS INSTALLED INTO MY KITCHEN WINDOW. NOT ONLY WAS IT NOT CENTERED IN THE WINDOW, BUT IT WAS NOT LEVEL, NOT EVEN BEING CLOSE TO LEVEL, THE LEFT SIDE AN INCH HIGHER THAN THE RIGHT. IN THE PROCESS OF INSTALLING THE AIRCONDITIONER THEY BROKE MY KITCHEN SINK FAUCET. THEY FAILED TO MENTION THAT TO ME, I NOTICED AS THEY PULLED AWAY. I CALLED THEM TO COME FIX WHAT THEY BROKE AND HE WANTED TO CHARGE ME FOR A NEW FAUCET. I REFUSED SO HE TURNED OFF THE WATER SUPPLY UNDER MY SINK "PATCHED UP" THE CRACKED FAUCET. IN THE PROCESS BROKE SOMETHING UNDER THE SINK. SO AGAIN AS HE IS DRIVING A WAY I NOTICE A PUDDLE ON THE KITCHEN FLOOR. I CALL HIM AND AGAIN HE SAID HE IS GONA CHARGE ME FOR THE LEVERS UNDER THE SINK HE BROKE. I REFUSED AGAIN. SO NOW I AM WAITING FOR HIM TO COME BACK. ALL I WANT IS FOR HIM TO BE RESPONSIBLE AND FIX WHAT HE BROKE!! HE WAS VERY UNPROFESIONAL AND NEVER KEPT HIS APPOINTMENTS. SO I ADVISE ANYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THESE GUYS!! HORRIBLE WORK AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! THEY WONT BE IN BUSINESS LONG WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK THEY DO!
