good but like all hvac tech's they're overpriced

I was directed to ACE through Costco. The initial appointment was very responsive, but the representative spent a long time explaining how HVAC works in technical terms. He didn't have a business card with him to give me when he left. He did e-mail me a quote the next day but when I wrote back with a question it was 3 days before he responded & when I asked another question I never heard from them again. Their price was several thousand higher than the company I went with (even after subtracting the value of the Costco gift card).

The whole install went very well. The crew that did the work spent about 5 days total to completely remove the older existing system, which was complicated by a very small attic and poor installation of the previous system. They even had to replace the new system because the first unit had a manufacturing defect.
They had to cut new holes in the ceiling and were very conscientious about dust, covering all furniture and thoroughly cleaning afterwards.
The new system is much more efficient and cools the whole house much better than the old one.
They did a great job, handled the financing, helped when we ran into a problem with getting a rebate from the manufacturer, and have continually followed up to ensure the system has performed well and to ensure the city permits were all complete.

Customer service and responsiveness were excellent. They came out to diagnose the problem same am as original call was made on one of the hottest days of the summer. Said they would have to order parts from out of town to complete the reapir and did not expect to have the required part for 2 days at best. We recevied a call the next morning to let us know that they would be out latter that same am to complete the repair. They were sympathetic to our situation and sent somene from their company on a special trip out of town to pick the needed part for us. They showed up as promised, completed the repair in short time, and for less than the original bid. by responding to our needs so quickly we were able to provide a comfortable enviroment for our employees and clients.
Would definitly recomend to others.

Sam was our technician. He did a fantastic job. Walked us through everything. He even went into the crawl space to check the duct work. Very thorough.

There was a financing problem on our end and they helped us get that done while getting the work done. Everything went smooth because of them. They started doing the work before the financing was approved. They felt it was important to get this taken care of before the cold time. They are honest in their evaluations. They went above and beyond explaining a few things that they didn't have to go over.

I had furnace and air conditioning unit replaced, as well as ducting repair.

They were able to fix it and find the piece and part that was necessary. My daughter has asthma and they were really good about getting out here; which is very important. They were also very helpful.

They were punctual. Their estimate was accurate, and the clean up was very good, but there was some spots I had to call them back for. The follow-up was excellent. They had the guy that gave me the estimate come out and physically get up in the attic and physically look at everything they did and then come down to discuss osme of the follow-up care that needed to be done and he made sure that was corrected. Then, they pressure tested it, and it was better than state standards. I had a 40% leak when they started, and less than a 4% leak when they finished.

Our heater wasn't working, so we had them come out for an estimate. They were not only on time, but courteous and fixed it quickly. Would definitely use it again.

I don't have any strong impressions one way or another.

Tom and his crew were top notch! They showed when they said they would, completed the work on time, cleaned up after themselves and Tom (owner) called a few weeks later to see if we were happy with their work! Imagine that, Customer Service isn't dead after all! Our reworked system after a two month evaluation is more efficient, runs less, does a better job of cooling and is saving us money on our power bill vs. the last few years. I cannot stress enough how courteous and professional the entire Ace Air crew is and would highly recommend them to anyone who has need for HVAC service.

Even one year when we had a blackout and our air conditioner went out they were out within 30 minutes to fix it. We will be happy to continue to use them in the future.
