They're very good. I've been there for 50 years. I trust them. I like them. They know me more or less. So, they take me right away. They help me. I see Dr. Voss there. She is very very good. I like her. I'm happy with the quality.

Excellent service, as usual.
Over the 10+ years I have been using Mid-Pen, the vets there have provided services raging from spays, c-sections, tumor removals, Cushing's disease diagnosis and treatment, routine vaccinations, foxtail removals, pre-whelp radiographs, puppy health check-ups, ultrasounds, echocardiograms with visiting cardiologist Dr. Kienle, etc. Pretty much everything from soup to nuts as I currently have six champion show dogs and have four previous dogs they cared for. All the vets at Mid-Pen are excellent as well as the reception staff, the techs., and the nursing and hospital staff. Everybody there cares for your pet as if it were their own, and the service from all the employees reflects that caring attitude. All the vets at Mid-Pen are very knowledgeable and the staff-well-trained in their respective areas.

We took our 7 year old Weimaraner there for a surgical consultation visit. We recently moved to the area and did not know of any reputable vets in the area. Through a suggestion, Mid-Peninsula was offered. We met with one of their staff vets (gentleman, forgot his name). His grasp of the situation and suggestions were reassuring and believable. We actually followed his advice to proceed with knee surgery for our dog. The knee surgery was not performed at Mid-Penn.

Dane Whittiker has been our vet for our animals for over 10 years. Our experience with the Mid Penninsula Animal Hospital has been great. They tell you all the costs and give you the range of alternative treatments. Very caring and compassionate staff.

I spent $250 on that visit. They are very flexible with the appointments that they offer. They offer Saturday and Sunday appointments. We see Dr. Tamola.

I have been very pleased with Mid-Peninsula Animal Hospital on each visit. Their vets clearly care for all the animals (we see Dr. Blount mostly) -- they take time to learn exactly what is going on to fully determine how to treat them. They also take my calls at any time to answer additional questions/talk through a new issue. The staff is great too. They always have a lot going on and a full waiting room, but they pay special attention to each customer and are very friendly. While they are not cheap, I will definitely continue to take all my pets there.

Their prices are a little high however their care is very good. Everyone is very kind and caring. I really like the fact that if your animal has something wrong and has to be treated, one of the vets will do a follow up call to make sure that they are ok, after the treatment.

I really like this vet. They called later that night to see how my dog was doing. I would definitely go back and would recommend them to other dog owners. I felt that they were extremely responsive to my needs and took great care of my dog.

Overall, I would say you can probably find a better place to go, given the high prices and OK service. Price exam fees seem consistent with other vets, but they kill you with add on services. Twenty dollars for a 60 second ear cleaning???!!!! Some of the products for sale can be bought for 70% off on the Internet. Most shots can be obtained at 50% off through a mobile vet clinic at a local pet store. Quality - seem competent, although I have little basis for comparison. Responsiveness/Punctuality; can take several days to get an appointment. Professionalism: I felt rushed on various occasions. Drs. answered all my questions but made me feel like I was taking up a lot of their time. Also would not allow me to accompany my dog in the back during certain procedures (anal glands, shots, etc.) Parking can be difficult given the proximity to the Menlo rail station.
