The company founder, Ariel, came by to plan the job first -- installation of 4 beautiful outdoor hand railings -- then brought his small work crew and supervised them until he was sure they were on track, and finally came back to review and approve the job, which was first rate. The hand railings were expertly attached to the concrete steps via reinforced anchor bolts, which makes them all feel rock-solid. I am so glad I contracted with the best for this job, as my partner's safety negotiating the outdoor steps depends upon it!

I needed a custom railing to augment the height of a too-low pony wall style railing on a second-floor deck. I developed a design and sent it to Ariel at Great Metal Designs. He confirmed my measurements, presented options and sent me a very fair quote. He returned a couple of weeks later with all the parts, powder-coated with the color I’d selected. The installation went smoothly and the sturdy railing is *exactly* what I’d hoped for. Excellent service and a perfect product.

The workmanship and service is astonishing. We have an apartment building that went through a major transformation with 3 new staircases and the upper landings. They also revamped all the steel security doors on each tenant door. They subcontracted out the painting and the exterior painting turned out just as expected. The planning, execution and completion date exceeded our expectations. We have several investment properties and Ariel goes over and beyond to meet our deadlines when needing to get something done in a short timeline. Ariel and his team did a great job for our exterior stairs, metal stairs with railing and concrete steps. From the moment we got the quote, we thought Ariel was the right hire and we were right. He provided a reasonable quote. He's very thorough answering our questions and explained the process. The finished stairs look solid and sturdy. Ariel made sure it had extra protective coatings to protect from the ocean moisture. The workmanship is excellent. Ariel and Great Metal Designs were outstanding on all fronts. Ariel quickly responded to my inquiry and helped diagnose the issue and propose a repair solution for our iron fence. He did this all through photos I shared with him, and delivered a practical and cost efficient solution. Within a day I had a contract and a scheduled repair. They are incredibly easy to work with, and Ariel is very personable and charismatic = this combination delivers an outstanding service experience. Would highly recommend to all!

Ariel transformed our home with his beautiful iron railing. We had old wooden balusters that did not fit the style of our home. After first meeting with Ariel and going over the look I was hoping for, he made a sample to give me an idea of what the new railing would look like. The quality of his sample was amazing and he listened to exactly what I wanted. The railing came out even better than expected!

Ariel and his team were a pleasure to work with. He created a beautiful metal-framed wood gate that matched the aesthetic of my house and enhanced its architectural design. They had some initial problems working with old posts (to save me money), and stuck with it to resolve the issues and create a work around that looks awesome. He went above and beyond to add additional metal to the inside of the gate to keep my crazy dog from chewing on it. It looks stunning!

Ariel is super friendly on the phone and got back to me promptly. His bid was lower than other bids I got, and the quality was quite good.

I hired Ariel of Great Metal Design to fabricate and install an outdoor railing along two sides of a new, elevated patio in my backyard. I reached out to several pros via HomeAdvisor, and Ariel was the first to respond. I found him to be warm and informative over the phone, so we agreed to make an appointment for him to come and visit the site to assess the design decisions and take measurements. Ariel was prompt for our appointment, gave good design advice, and subsequently fabricated and installed a very attractive and strong railing for us. I'm totally satisfied with his service.
