Cindy's Flowers

But my daughter got no flowers (which were to have been a surprise from her parents) on her birthday . I had called Cindy's the day before, and made arrangements for them to deliver a special arrangement to our daughter's address in a neighboring town. I clarified that it was a back apartment, and that she worked in the morning. They agreed that they could make a nice arrangement to be delivered in the afternoon of the birthday. When I called my daughter that evening, she said nothing about any flowers. Today (the day after the birthday) I finally asked her about the flowers. No flowers had been delivered. I called the florist, and (after a LONG time on hold) was told that they had had a computer problem which prevented some deliveries the previous day! Then they asked if I wanted the flowers sent anyway. No mention of any discount for the mix-up. I cancelled the order - what good is a birthday surprise when it's not on the birthday and is no longer a surprise. I would have expected a little more that 'I'm sorry," when they heard my story.

Now that we have the final bouquet I must admit that Cindy did a great job. It is one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever ordered. I think you can count on Cindy's to make sure the customer is satisfied (see photo).
