The previous owner was named Patrick and then he sold it to him, so I've had him for about four or five years. I don't need him that often, so I don't get to see him that often. Hopefully, I won't need him for a while. He was there for over half a day. He always comes out right away. The price was good for what he did, and he did a lot. Everything worked right, and nothing was working right. I thought he was very good. He did what I asked him to do and he did a little bit more.

He was excellent. I would use him again and recommend him as well.

Dennis did an outstanding job!. I had called him in the morning for a quote and he offered to stop by the house that afternoon to take a look at what I wanted and give me a quote. He showed up at the time promised, he provided a very cost-competitive quote, and he completed the work within 90 minutes. Since he was working on a hardwood floor, he laid down some plastic to minimize the mess. Dennis kept me informed every step of the process and he clearly wanted to make sure I was happy with his work. Also, I asked Dennis to keep the plastic on the floor when he was done so that I could hang the TV without making a mess. His response to my request was to carefully fold up the plastic he had used and replace it with clean plastic for my use. To say I was impressed with his professionalism, quality of work, and affordability, would be an understatement. I highly recommend Dennis and Shazzam Electric!

Spoke with Dennis last night and explained our ceiling fan was not working. He told us he could come over today, Sept. 9 and fix it. Dennis called when he said he would, and then came over to our home and fixed the problem. He was punctual, professional, and did an excellent job. We would definitely use Dennis again, and we would definitely recommend him to others.

Dennis knew exactly what I needed and how the job needed to be done to ensure it was safe and installed properly. I provided most of the material he stated that I needed and we set a date for the install. He was a little earlier than he originally estimated he would be at the house but it worked out great because he finished in time for me to attend my daughters soccer game. He didn't mind that my couriosity had me looking over his shoulder most of the time. It was not because I did not trust him, but rather that I was interested in the process. At any rate the job turned out perfect and everything is working as expected. Now that we are prepared with a backup generator to keep us going during interruptions and emergencies, my family and I feel much better. I would highly recommend Dennis and Shazzam for your electrical needs. I will definitely be calling again.

On a Saturday it is sometimes hard to find help for things like this, but Dennis responded immediately, told us when he thought he could be here, then called us when he was a half hour away.  His manner on the phone and in person was friendly but professional.  He explained what needed fixing and took care of it quickly and thoroughly.  He answered all our questions, and his fee was very reasonable.  We were completely satisfied, and will certainly call Dennis again for electrical service.

I contacted Dennis on Mon and scheduled an  appointment for the job on Wed.. with the agreement that I would text him the address. I forgot to do that and had to reschedule for Thur. because the house was sold and escrow closing on Thur. He fit me into his busy schedule to accommodate my repairs to close on time. He charged me a very reasonable fee for the job. He did a great job hooking the electrical outlet and helped me out with a small problem I had with the breaker box. I would recommend Dennis as the top in his field.

Called Dennis, said he'd be able to stop by in the evening - called a little while later and said he could make it earlier - came out, did the troubleshooting - identified the issues, performed the repairs, suggested some upgrades (not and up sell), got it all done in a couple of hours - great job!

Dennis was very professional and knowledgeable. He was easy to deal with and he came in and did an outstanding job. Once he started he kept going till the job was done.  I couldn't be happier. I am already making arrangements to hire him to do another job in the next week or so.

Dennis was great! He was responsive to my initial contact and came out within a couple of days. He was on time, courteous and extremely fair. He did a great job with the new light fixtures and even picked up new bulbs which he just charged us cost on; that was great because it saved a trip to the store!

Dennis was very meticulous; he explained in detail why he did what he did.  He gave me great recommendations on alternatives I was not aware of.  The job exceeded my expectation.  My wife and I are very pleased with his work.

He was quick and the price was cheap for a service call. I was going to use him for another job but he told me what to look for over the phone and I was able to resolve it on my own. They are willing to help you and they really care about customer service. I would highly recommend his services to anyone.

1. Called on a Friday for work that I wanted done a week later.  Call was not returned until the following morning.  Apparently, he was out of cell phone range during the day.

2. The work was done on a Saturday morning.  No extra charge for Saturday work.

2.  The electrician, Dennis Jones, arrived on time.

3.  After he arrived, we went over the details of the job.  He then gave me an estimate as to the labor hours involved plus any parts. 

4.  I agreed with the estimate and he then proceeded with the job.  He then left to go to Home Depot to get some parts.  Was back quickly and began working. 

5.  He did a nice job on the rewiring in the garage.  The new switch turned on both the inside and outside lights.  With the inside light switch now working, we did conclude the light fixtures themselves needed to be replaced.  He then made another trip to Home Depot without charging for the extra travel time. 

6.  The installation of the wall mounted light fixture in the family room also went very well.  This was replacing one that no longer worked.  We had already bought a new one.  He removed the old one, and installed the new one to the height that we agreed upon. 

7.  The bill that I received was in line with the estimate. 

Dennis arrived at the appointed time, was very friendly and helpful.  He was open to explaining what he was doing and what needed to be done.
We highly recommend Dennis and would hire him again as needed.

He has come out and done another job for us, and also given an estimate on a third job. My husband was very pleased with the work. He is very friendly and easy to work with.  He is very forthcoming with his opinion and ideas.  He treated it like it was his own personal job for his home. We will use him in the future.  We paid him an even $500 for the job because we were so pleased with the work.

Dennis was awesome.  The kitchen lights/sockets stopped working for a while and a previous electrician kept delaying on when he could fix them.  Frustrated, we called Shazzam after doing some research here on Angie's List.  After a Tuesday afternoon call Dennis was here the next day to diagnose the problem.  We found out it was previous electrical work that was the cause of the problem and creating a fire hazard.  After giving us an estimate he came back Saturday morning (Labor Day weekend and we were having company over, so he scored extra brownie points there) and fixed the kitchen lights/sockets.  He also replaced a bathroom light and repaired the chandelier in the dining room (again, previous shoddy work was causing a fire hazard in the chandelier).  I have found a new go-to electrician and I am definitely going to use Shazzam for all my future electrical work.

Dennis was at our house for over fifteen hours over the course of three days. I had the time off, so I followed him around watching and asking questions about what he was doing. He was always courteous and informative telling me what he was doing and why. He was meticulous in his work, e.g., using a level to make sure the wall plates were level before he finished tightening them. I had purchased several outdoor lights and a new ceiling fan in anticipation of the electrical work and had planned to install the lights myself, but since they were available, Dennis readily installed them also. Any electrical work we have done in the future will be done by Dennis and Shazzam Electric.

I spoke with Dennis about fixing this problem which has been happening several time lately.It's my brother-in-laws home and is handicapped.Dennis went and reported that he would go to Home Depot and replace with a newer correct breaker switch and fuses.The a/c was recent install but the breaker box is a little old.The  problem  seems to be that there is moisture in the copper lines also which causes the compressor to spike and blow the fuse.I will now follow up with my a/c man to correct this.
      In the conversation of what I owed for his service,he said nothing for his labor and minimal for the fuses.Am I still in this century were someone gouges you evertime you turn around and I'm insisting on paying something for his time?? He went out of his way to the hardware store and all and did not want any compensation ??? He's as honest as the day is long and truly a personable guy. Don't hesitate to call him if in need of electrical work cause he is very knowledgeable in his work.I wish I could use him at my home, but I live to far out of his area.I will recommend him in a heart beat to anyone else though....
