ON 10/11/12 I CALLED BOB BECAUSE WE NEEDED A NEW GARBAGE DISPOSAL, HE INSTALLED IT AND WE PAID HIM $95.
IN THE INTERIM I CALLED KITCHENAID AND FOUND OUT A NEW FRONT PANEL WAS ABOUT $65. I HAD THEM SEND IT.
THEN I CALLED BOB AND TOLD HIM THAT I HAD TAKEN DOWN THE FRONT PANEL ON THE MICROWAVE THAT WAS BUSTED AND I HAD TO PURCHASE A NEW FRONT PANEL. I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW THE NEW PANEL WOULD FIT IN. HE SAID HE WOULD LOOK AT IT WHEN IT CAME IN. HE CAME ON 10/31/12 TO INSTALL A NEW BASKET STRAINER ASSEMBLY. THE PART WAS $13 AND INSTALL WAS $95. FRANKLY IN OUR CONVERSATION I WAS HOPING THAT HE WOULD ADMIT THAT HE BROKE THE FRONT PANEL, BUT HE SAID,and quot;I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOUand quot; WHEN I TALKED TO HIM ON THE TELEPHONE. WHEN HE CAME ON 10/31/12 FOR THE BASKET STRAINER, HE ORDERED A NEW KITCHEN FAUCET FROM MOEN (WHICH IS NO CHARGE FROM MOEN). I PAID HIM THE $108 THINKING THAT THIS WOULD INCLUDE INSTALLING THE FAUCET. WHEN I RECEIVED THE NEW FAUCET I CALLED HIM AND ASKED HIM HOW MUCH IT WOULD BE TO INSTALL THE MOEN AND HE SAID $95. I TOLD HIM THAT I DID NOT INSTALL THE MICROWAVE AND AT ONE TIME OR ANOTHER WE ALL HAVE TO EVENTUALLY ADMIT OUR MISTAKES. HIS TEMPER ROSE REAL HIGH AND HE SAID and quot;I'M SURE YOU CAN FIND ANOTHER PLUMBER, THERE ARE MANY OUT THERE!and quot;

"Robert Moffett Plumbing has literally hundreds of loyal satisfied customers in the private community where Member and I live. Until now, ALL of my Angie's List customers have posted nothing but Excellent reviews as you can see. This is the result of honest and caring concern for my customers, including Member..She seems to imply that I broke her Microwave that I installed for her because I was having difficulty handling it. I have installed hundreds of microwave units and am quite adept at doing so,and if I'd broken it,I certainly would have fixed it. That is the kind of business I have run for over 26 years and that is why i have so many satisfied customers. When Member had me replace her disposal, she pointed out that she was trying to replace the filters on the microwave and couldn't figure out how to get the grill off and would I look at it. She had a step stool in front of the unit and I looked at the grill and saw that the grill had been snapped off of the screws that held it in place on the top of the unit. I told her that it looked like someone had tried to pull it off and broke them, and so I installed the new grill for her. She then questioned the amount that I had charged her to install the basket strainer on her sink, (13.00) and said that it was too much and then accused me of breaking her microwave and said I should take responsibility for it. I couldn't believe that she was accusing me of something that she almost admitted to doing herself, not to mention how low my price was to replace her basket strainer. The grill is on the top face of the unit; this area is not pushed or even handled when being install but rather it is set in from the bottom and then raised into place, so it's not likely that I even accidentally broke the grill because it would have never stayed in place given the way it was broken,it would just lay there. Again, if I had broken the grill I would have replaced it,not tried to hide it or lie about it and dodge responsibility...I'm not that kind of a person. With regards to her kitchen faucet; she asked me to look at her old one and I did and found it defective. I told her I would make arrangements to have the manufacture send her a new one for free, which I did. She received the new faucet within 10 days but she did not call me to install it for well over a month. One day she called and asked "how much will you charge me to install the faucet" and I told 95. dollars which is my standard service charge. She got upset and said "you're gonna charge me 95. dollars to install this faucet? Come on now!" And I said, "Natalie, you don't have to hire me if you don't like my price, you can use who ever you want." It appears that Member wants to hurt my business by giving me a horrible review but I have to say that of the times that I have spent with her when I did these jobs, she spent most of the time bad mouthing her neighbors, board members and former friends. I don't think I ever heard say a kind word about anyone,"

He arrived promptly, assessed and confirmed the problem, explained my options, and how long it would take to repair. I was very
impressed when Mr. Moffett advised me against what another plumber tried to sell me on, especially when it could have been to his financial advantage and I would not have known the difference. Additionally, his cost for the job was less than what had been quoted to me by the previous plumbers, and without him knowing what they had quoted.
Mr. Moffett arrived promptly, worked quickly and with as little disruption to my household. I was very happy with Mr. Moffett’s work and general demeanor, so much so that I hired him then and there to refit my bathroom with a new vanity, mirror, light fixture, faucet, and to repair the deep sink in my garage.
I believe Mr. Moffett’s quiet, but friendly, and professional performance made what could have been a stressful situation, stress free.
I highly recommend Mr. Moffett as a professional who knows his business and who is also governed by a very high degree of integrity.
