On the recommendation of a friend, we called M&M, and they repaired our unit.
This year, the compressor went bad, mostly because "Day and Night" (the manufacturer) failed to install a low-pressure switch and an adequate in-line filter. Contamination in the form of small particles got into the compressor, causing it to lose input pressure and overheat, eventually damaging it to where it would only cool our house slightly.
M&M tracked down the problems and installed a new compressor, along with the proper safety switches, plus replacing a faulty valve..
They came promptly when called, and always showed up when they said they would.
The repairs were completed in a timely manner, and the system now works as it should.
Addendum:
M&M had some difficulty finding a part, but did NOT give up. What COULD have been a week-long delay turned into a one-DAY delay!
It's rare that my wife and I have experienced true customer service like what we received from M&M!
