It was totally amazing to watch the construction of these rockery walls. Rock was delivered from our local quarry and using a special tractor, 2 men set to work on excavating the footings, placing rocks and installing a drain system behind the wall as the built the wall up. They were very professional and expedient and I am so happy with the way the walls look. They also constructed steps in one of the walls using old quarried granite blocks that were reclaimed from an old building in Sacramento. This was less expensive than using traditional stacking, concrete blocks and looks so much better!
