They prepped midweek one week, and returned to paint the following Tuesday, so there was plenty of time to dry from the washing. We had considerable wind at that time so they put off painting a day for safety reasons. All windows and the sliding door were covered while painting as you would expect. I used 3 colors, one for the house, one for trim and one for doors. I received leftover cans for all 3 at the end, for future use. At the end, they did a walk-through with me to catch anything I was not satisfied with. I pointed out a couple of little things and they fixed them right away. This company was the low bid and also gives two coats and a two-year guarantee. They patched and primed problems areas, did one coat brush and roll and the second spray. I was around enough to know that is true, although some of the time I took my dogs elsewhere. They use Kelly-Moore paint, new to our area, but which I know from having a house painted on Puget Sound. That paint has a good number of stock colors so we were able to find good colors without mixing, which I am told is helpful for color longevity. That company takes back unused paint at the end of the year for recycling which is good. They used protective gear when spraying, including a face mask, and had quite an array of specialty ladders. I live near the ocean so I think the two coats is important along with the good prep.
Description of Work: My 2-story house still had the original coat of paint at age about 13 years so it had to be done. I had some bare eaves in the back. I also had some open grooves across the siding on the West side. Fallon and his helper finished it in about 4 days of work including the prep day. I have standard pressed board grooved siding. They were careful with the outdoor furniture, patio surface and shrubbery that was nearby, and were easy to work with. They took all resulting trash with them.
