While the prices are little bit more than I could find at other stores or online, I happily give them all the business I can because they provide exceptional customer service. I am new to chicken and ducks, and backyard farming in general, and these people have helped us out tremendously. What I appreciate the very most is that I had a very sick chicken that Tom helped me diagnose and then recommended that I put her out of her misery. I absolutely was not prepared to do this myself as I have only just ventured into this way of life. I was told that I could bring her in and they would do it. Now THAT is customer service above and beyond the call of duty. Aand L also has a very informative newsletter, as well as, workshops for things like processing your animals for food and pruning your fruit trees. Aside from that, they are ALWAYS willing to answer questions and help you find anything you need in the store.
