BUTTACAVOLI INDUSTRIES

Order made 04-16-2013, $1,100 down payment made. Order was for a 36" glass door with a 22" side glass pane in a wood frame. At the bottom of the side pane, insert a cat door. My husband, Steve, went over the plans with them. The order included hardware and a roll-back screen door. Time frame was to be 6 weeks. After agreement was made, we were told we need to provide the cat door, which we did. We received no calls, no information for 8 weeks. My husband would call or stop by the store to get information. Sometime in early June, we were told the door was in. Steve responded to check it, there was no glass pane, only a wood panel with the cat door installed. I do not know who was responsible for this error since Buttacavoli had to order the door through Millworks, so I do not hold Buttacavoli solely responsible for this error. The door was returned for correction. After another several weeks and no contact, Steve called but had difficulty getting someone to come to the phone. He left messages that were rarely returned. July 18th, they installed the door with a slightly damaged door knob, no deadbolt (hole cut out) and no screen door. The door itself is beautiful and Steve paid the balance for the door. They promised to order the screen and replace the door knob and include a deadbolt, Steve advised he would pay when he received the items. Another several weeks of calling and/or stopping by with no contact. Finally Steve was told we would have the screen and knobs on Thursday, 08-15-13, but on Thursday they called at 2:00 and stated the screen didn't arrive and the next delivery would be the following Thursday. At that point Steve cancelled the order and went to Lowes to order a screen and buy the hardware needed.
