Waters Moving And Storage

As far as moves go I could not have asked for better service.  The packers arrived a 8AM on Monday and did a great job.  In unpacking I have found nothing broken.  On Tuesday the truck arrived a 8AM and the loading finished about 3:45PM. In both the packing and loading the truck driver was there to oversee the work. On Wednesday the driver phoned me at 7PM  in Ely, NV  to see if they could start unloading that evening.  Unloaded until about 9PM and returned at 8 the next morning and finished about 10:30AM.  The truck then headed back to Martinez. If I had to do the move again would hire Waters again as you could not have asked for a better crew at either end of the move.

They are the best! Very professional and courteous. We would recommend them to anyone considering a move!

Ed came out to give an estimate and we were still unsure of a move date. Once we figured out a date, we booked and they delivered totes for us to use. On move day, 5 guys arrived (we had booked 4) They were very professional in putting down blankets and pads to protect our flooring. They shrink-wrapped dressers which allowed us to leave clothing in them. They had our entire home packed into the trucks in just a few hours, took a lunch break on the way to the new house and then unloaded in another few hours.
No damage found, and all items made it to the new house.
Water's offers use of totes for your move. They delivered them 2 weeks prior, for a $25 delivery fee, then picked them up 2 weeks after the move. This allowed me time to pack and unpack, and not have to purchase as many cardboard boxes. They also used a couple action packers, huge open cardboard boxes that we/they could load miscellanous items into. That was great for the kids toys, loose stuff in the garage.

I did not call for other quotes so I don't know if their price was competitive but I feel that it was about right. They were very professional and efficient.

The three guys from Waters were on time, professional, thoughtful and did a great job in our move. I highly recommend them. Not one item was damaged. They were also very creative about getting a sofa into a room, through outside decks since it could not fit through the door. If you need a local move within Northern California, these guys are great!

They arrived on time and were quite professional. Movers promptly started moving my stuff and were very efficient. Large items were handled with care, and they advised me what could happen to a few large pieces that might get damaged. It turned out to be more work than I orginnally planned but they advised that how I could save money and loaded the truck to its maximum. I also asked they move several large patio planters with trees which took up lots of space on the truck.

They were punctual, friendly, polite, and willing to go beyond what is expected to make the move quickly and without damaging my property.

They scheduled the appointment right away.  The movers were polite,professional and quick.   They did not hit any wallsd or nick the furniture.  I would use them again.

The move took 8 hours.  Driver deserved his $150 tip, and the two helpers each deserved their $100 tip. They deserved an exceptional tip for exceptional work.  

The move went very well overall with minor glitches, mostly due to lack of time. I would have no doubts in using their services again, or recommending them to other people.
