I like Matt Mulder and his guys. They do good work once they get here. They're courteous and friendly.
The problem is getting on their schedule to begin with. I guess they're pretty busy. Matt's phone line is voice mail, so you wait for a return call. When Matt returns your call, he doesn't schedule the visit. He tells you he'll call back in a week or so to schedule the visit.
Matt apparently doesn't keep records of his residential clients. Despite having been here several times, Matt never remembers my name, address, or phone number.
And you don't get a quote up front. Matt mails you a handwritten invoice after the job is done. His prices have always been fair, but you never know what the final cost will be until after the job is done.
I would use Mulder Electric again - unless I had a rush job or needed an up-front quote.

They were very quick.

They guarantee their work.

Matt arrived with another electrician and they spent their time coordinating the various jobs I had requested.
They did a great job on my house which is tricky for most electricians - the house was originally wired like a commercial building by the original owner who was a commercial electrician.
They were very efficient, clean, professional and did a great job with ideas.
would use them again next time I need any electrical work.

They were all very nice but there was one light which was not originally done right but someone came back out to repair it. They also did not have any tarp so we found some for them but they did not place them in some places where they needed to. I might use them for minor jobs again in the future.

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT. They did an awesome job of listening to what I wanted done and turning my ideas into reality. They had great suggestions, were a pleasure to have in my house and were very clean in their work. I would hire them again and will. I would also recommend them to anyone looking for a professional experience with a family touch.

The job went very well. The fan failed some time ago. I contacted Mulder and asked for an estimate on a replacement and bringing up to code. His man (Dave) came today and completed the installation.
