I would be eaten alive on my legs when I went out and then they moved in following me and visitors!.
We did research on riding fleas ourselves butfrom the research the best spray could only be supplied by exterminator.
We called a couple of exterminators for estimates only when it became apparent that we could not control the fleas ourselves. We also called a previous exterminator who had rid our basement of subterranean termites and they recommended bug zappers. They also had the lowest bid. We called them and they came out the next day. They sprayed around the house, yard . We immediately noted the drop off in number of bites and after 3 days no more bites from inside or outside the house and it has remained this way since. We did not need the revisit of a second spray.
We also were given a handout on flea prevention.
