AVATAR PAINTING

The owner of the company was on-site very little of the time and left two workers at the site. One worker spoke no English and the other was sick a great part of the time, which was not his fault. However, he continued to come to work but could not perform. The painting that he did was terrible. There are definite gaps where the ceiling and walls meet and it's very annoying. The non-English speaking worker did an excellent job, as did the owner when he actually came and did some work. Every day when I sit in the living or dining room, I can't help but see the bad paint job and wonder why I hired these guys. They also got a considerable amount of spray on the windows. It's very faint, but it's there and can be seen during certain light. They didn't remove this, although they said they would.

This was a case of expectations being set too high. I was told that the crew would arrive each day and put up plastic and fully protect everything, clean up, and protect again on day two. This did not happen. In addition, my personal property was thrown about and generally not treated with much care or respect. Furniture had dusty joint compound on it and some of the knock down texture was in various pieces of furniture. The crew also broke a fixture and claimed it ''spontaneously broke.'' New light bulbs were provided but a metal ring that held the lights in the fixture was a unique piece that was neither located by the crew or replaced. Overall, a 6/10 experience. A nice enough guy, but I would not recommend to my friends.
