They did a camera inspection and determined that I might not need to replace the pipe, and recommended a hydro-cleaning first. They sent someone out the next week to clean out debris in the pipe. I was happy to learn the pipe is now functioning. I really appreciated their professionalism and willingness to suggest an option that saved me thousands of dollars. I would definitely recommend them and will call on them if I need any kind of external pipe-work done.

The tech realized the line problem might actually be with the city. He was tenacious after first thinking he wasn't going to get my line cleared. He did not give up and voila! He successfully cleared the line. The City also came out and cleared their end as well. Advanced Trenchless saved me thousands of dollars. He also ran a camera and investigated the sewer line.
I was more than pleased with this.
I found these folks through Angie's list.
I don't recall the Tech's name but he was a superstar.
Very professional and thorough.
I have recommended these folks to others already.....

They scheduled a service over MLK Day, then cancelled an hour before. When they rescheduled, they did show up on time and were courteous personally. However they left a mess in the yard and left no instructions on when it would be cleaned up. Even when they did pick up after their mess, they didn't leave the site as they found it. They also did not use the walkway on a rainy day and now there's a bare spot in my lawn. Worst of all, now on rainy days the sewer backs up into our laundry room, so now there's a leak in the pipes they created. Overall a pretty bad experience.
Response from Advanced Trenchless
"We deeply regret that this client has expressed his displeasure with our performance. We pride ourselves on our quality, integrity and customer satisfaction, as evident by our numerous A rating reviews on Angie’s List and other social media review platforms. We have tried everything within our power to rectify this situation and are fully confidant future customers will not have the same perception. We did contact the client to see if rescheduling the project was acceptable as East Bay MUD was closed for the holiday and the immediate feedback from the client was he was completely okay with the reschedule and no concern or displeasure was voiced. As far as the mess is concern, we have apologized for our foreman not communicating clearly what the process of the project would look like. The project was left in process over the weekend until the project was completed on the following Monday. The site was left in the same condition that we found it in. We have taken corrective steps with our project foremen, clearly outlining our client communication expectations. Our foremen are to always communicate with the customer timelines and current status of the project, as well as any loose ends that remain (i.e. the pile of dirt remaining for a few days) and when we plan on completing them. We are very sorry about our client’s displeasure regarding the landscaping of his yard. As soon as we knew of the customer’s frustration we contacted them to offer immediate corrective action, to satisfy his expectations. We immediately went out to the site to view and address any concerns, only to find the site in perfect order. We were informed by the customer he had personally made corrections to his landscaping prior to our arrival. We wish we had been given the opportunity to make these corrections ourselves proving our commitment to quality and client satisfaction. As far as the leak in the pipes the client believes we created, it is actually coming from abandoning an illegal storm drain, not permitted by the City of Oakland. We communicated to the client several times prior to and during the project, that the storm drain would no longer be connected to the sewer and it would no longer have an outlet to drain into. The client failed to understand the ramifications resulting from this abandonment. As a result, we have put new systems in place, to insure future clients completely understand the results from abandoning illegal storm drains. To address his misperception of the leaky pipes, we performed a verification test with an East Bay Municipality Utility District (EBMUD) inspector present, proving that the sewer is air and water tight, free of leaks. Anyone is able to visit the EBMUD website to verify this project has passed all EBMUD verification test and is in compliance. We are deeply sorry that our client was not 100% satisfied with our work and have voiced this to him several times in phone conversations and in writing. We tried several times to make the situation right and were not give the opportunity to do so. Again, we have addressed the areas we identified as our errors in this situation, specifically our shortcoming in communication and are confident our team will not make these mistakes again."

Great guys, big team, fully equipped with modern trenchless equipment.  Only complaint was that they killed a tree that was sitting directly over area of repiping but perhaps that couldn't be helped.  Otherwise, very responsive and did a lot of research in preparation for job.

From beginning to end, everything went well! They did everything that they promised, including taking good care of our new french drain that was located near the work site.  They arrived on time both days and cleaned up at the end of the day. They took all of my questions and concerns with a smile, and always took time to show me what was going on. I learned so much about my house and plumbing during this process!

The crew arrived promptly on the scheduled date and located the sewer line using electronic locating equipment. The crew excavated a twelve-foot deep hole where the locating equipment said the pipe was only to find that the pipe was actually two feet from the excavation. Because of the narrowness of the street, the crew had to refill the hole and come back the following Tuesday to dig a new hole and perform the replacement. Despite this difficulty, the crew remained very professional and took the problem in stride. They left the job site neat and clean both days. The work required the removal and replacement of a section of exposed aggregate concrete. The replacement patch matches the original beautifully.

It went very well. I was busy with work so I gave them authorization without even having a chance to meet in person. They came, they fixed it, they arranged the inspector  and I got my refund from Oakland without ever meeting!

Wonderful experience! They kept me informed during the entire process and dealt with the city to get approval for a re-routing of our line. The work they did prior to replacing our sewer line was in depth and took a lot of their time that they did not charge us for. Very professional and easy to work with they took care of us and made us feel that we were their only customers!

By far they were the lowest priced, compared to other bids.  They were in and out in one day.  Took care of all permits and inspections with the sewer district.  Crews were courteous and professional. Cleaned-up and patched up like they were never here.

After Ryan inspected our 300 ft long sewer line from the house to the city sewer line, we decided that he would be the one to replace our broken line.  What locked the deal was the offer to come anytime if the sewer backed up while we wait to be on the schedule for the job.  Our existing sewer line was the route in which the new sewer would follow by inserting the new pipe into the old pipe while slicing it the old pipe open and away.  Great technology.  This only works if the old pipe has no up and down shifts along its length.  We just installed pavers where the first clean out lay, but Advanced Trenchless crew laid all the pavers back down perfectly!   The second clean out was relocated on the driveway so they installed a flat metal cap that would be easy to access.  The final connection became a challenge due to the mystery on how it was connected to the city line.  Ryan has enough experience to know what to do and this was only a small obstacle.  The crew made sure the construction would not irritate the neighbors since the one lane  street would be blocked by trucks, material, and crew.  When I came back from a trip after the project was done, I was amazed on how clean the street and the house was.

I called Complete Trenchless Sewer Replacement in Benicia to ask for an inspection of our sewer line before we put in new landscaping.
Michael Charles came out to do the inspection.
As he pushed the camera through the sewer line, Micheal stopped frequently to comment on any changes he saw.
While there were some small issues of off-set pipes, he said there was no need to have the sewer pipe replaced at this time, could last 5 to 10 more years.
This experience gives me confidence that the company is fair and honest.

We recently bought this 1959 house, but never had a sewer lateral inspection done because there was no sewer blowout for easy access to the pipe.  We thought we needed a sewer blowout installed to even inspect the pipe.  That's what we had been told by other plumbers.  Ryan came out to give us an estimate for a blowout installation.  When he arrived, he said he'd check the condition of the sewer lateral first.  Surprised, I asked him how.  He said he would try to go through one of the vents on the roof, and if that didn't work, he'd have to remove a toilet to go through that way.  He managed to inspect the sewer lateral through the roof vent and said it looked good.  I was amazed.  He said we could certainly install a blowout, but he saw no need to do so as we weren't having any problems and the line looked good.  Wow.  I was psyched!  I asked what the charge was for his service (he was here for at least 45 mins., maybe an hour), and he said NO CHARGE!  Unbelievable.  I will DEFINITELY use him anytime I need this service and can't recommend him highly enough to anyone who will listen.

There was big trouble with all the bathrooms in my home-
I considered moving to a hotel until things were better (and I had guests at the time!)
The first company I called came and performed a very temporary fix -at least that's
what they told me.  They let me know I had only a few days before the system would back up again,
but they could fix it immediately for 13,000.
We got Trenchless there the next day to get another estimate.  They said the system would last
for a few months until we were ready to have the work done.  Their estimate was $8,000. and they wouldn't have to dig up the
driveway.  They didn't use any pressure tactics but were very straightforward.
We signed the contract.  They did the work on a schedule convenient for us.  The
water was off for only a few hours and the work got done quickly and easily.
They kept us informed every step along the way about what would be done when.
It took 2 days and several men but it was painless for us.  I can't recommend them highly
enough.

They did a superb job. The cleanup was wonderful. I also had to pay a $900.00 permit fee. They do not dig up the old sewer line. They were here a day and a half and you would never know they were even here after they left.
