They were reliable, on time and reasonable to employ any punches that cost more than we anticipated, but it was not the fault of the contractor. The price was competitive. The quality was very high. Without doubt, we will use them again in the future if we needed to.

Kenny is the owner, and he is eager and he is there on the spot. He comes when he says he is going to. Some people sound kind of good on the phone and then I make an appointment to get an estimate, and they don't show up for two hours. The little stuff means a lot. Our rental is really old and it was built in 1917, and it is one of the original houses built here in Manteca. When people lived in it, they did weird things to it. One thing they did was build a partial driveway where there was no curb entry from the street and there were just the regular curbs. So cars had to bump into each other to get into the driveway. All of those houses were originally like that because the real driveway is at the back of the house by the garage. Almost everybody on the street had that done sometime, but our house and several others had not. So Kenny went and did all the work with the city. It was a pain because he had to go across to the property. The actual curb part was not a hassle and he had to get it flattened out so a car could drive over it. The hassle was we had to touch the street and the sidewalk, which belongs to the city. We had to drive over the water meter which also belongs to the city. He just told me to not to worry and that he will take care of it.  Then they hit a problem with broken pipes. The driveway was a huge job in the first place and then all this hassle dealing with the city property. It was a reasonable job because it came to about $8500 for this huge job. It was less than what one guy had quoted us for just the driveway part, not including the dealing with the city and the curb as he hadn't even investigated that. When Kenny gave us the estimate it was for all of it. He had problems but he was calling us all the time to let us know. He was great, fast and timely. He had really good control over his crew and he was reliable.
