black pebble tec. I used them for the month long start up service and
was initially impressed with their professionalism. So, i decided to
keep them on service. Initially, they had a experienced employee service
my pool, but then he was reassigned and they gave me a brand new raw
employee who clearly did not understand the concept of adding chemicals
to a black pebble tec pool. every week he would add the chemicals in the
exact same spot and now i have a bleach stain along the side of my
pool. I grew up with pools and i know enough that you NEVER pour in the
chemicals in the same spot.. you walk around the deep end of the pool
and pour the chemicals in at different spots and you avoid the sides of
the pool! You do this to aid in diffusion of the chemicals and to avoid
damaging the sides of the pool. So, i called the company and they had
the and quot;managerand quot; aaron call me to set up an appointment to see the pool.. I
made a Firm appointment for today at 10 am and he did not even bother
to call me to let me know he was going to be late. I had to call the
office twice to find out what his ETA was and to complain about his
unprofessional behavior. He ended up being almost 3 hours late. He then
offered me a lack luster apology , never once acknowledging that he
should have called me when he knew he was going to be late. This is not
how you run a professional business.. After i explained what the issue
was and he had the nerve to try and put the problem back on me or to imply that the pool was already damaged because the pebble tec was old or that the bleach stain was somehow caused by an outlet opening that has never worked. I told him that the stain did not happen until after i was assigned a trainee and a raw employee. Up until that moment, there was no bleach stain as the employees that they sent me did not pour the chemicals on the side of the pool.
I have to say that office staff were always very nice and professional and I have no issues with them.
