Several months ago, our tenants found mold under the sink in my dad's old house. Based on the recommendations of others (and Angie's list), I contacted Servpro. Servpro contacted me in a very timely manner after I had called. That day, Walt came out to look at the job. He provided a rough estimate, and they started work the next day. Walt was upfront with me, letting me know that they wouldn't really know the extent of the damage until they started tearing into things, which I understood.
Servpro was in constant contact with me throughout the job, both having me look at their work thus far, advising options as how to proceed next, etc. They coordinated with the State mold inspector to run tests after finishing the demolition, and they even made calls on my behalf to a subcontractor, who came in and installed drywall as well as plumbing, and repainted everything.
I have never dealt with mold eradication before, so have no comparisons; however, Servpro seemed very fair in their costs. They are a professional, friendly company, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.
