Elite Roofing was very prompt, polite and honest from beginning to end, including the first phone call to solicit a quote. They came out within a day or two and measured my roof. Elite was very accommodating as I went back and forth to their office several times to pick up roofing samples. They even provided me some addresses where samples I was interested in had been installed so I could see what it looked like on a rooftop rather than just a sample board. Tear down was a one day affair with a very professional crew. The old shingles were removed and they installed the sheeting and underlayment on day one. No joking around or wasting of time. At the end of each day, they completely cleaned up and used a big magnet to get any nails and blew off the sawdust and chaff. Nice! Installation happened on the next day with the same professionalism. At the end of each day, a company rep came by the job to inspect the work that had been done by the crew. The thing that really impressed me was that the job was scheduled to begin on a Monday. When that Monday arrived, it was overcast with a slight chance of rain. Tim texted me and delayed the job until the next day when all threat of precipitation had passed. Not sure if every company would have done this.

Workers were very friendly, came on time and finished job. Excellent work and experience in repairs, cleaned up very well. Very satisfied overall. They were priced $1000.00 cheaper than other estimates.

Job went well. Workers explained what they were doing, showed me the new material compared to old. They cleaned up the area afterwards and asked if I needed anything more.
Also I am retired and when I got the first quote which I felt was about what I expected I asked Tim if there was anything he could do to save me a little money. Instead of cutting the quality of the work he sent me a new quote @10% less. Very fair price.
No heavy rain since the work was done but I expect it will do fine. I gave a B on responsiveness but to be fair it was during the one big storm we had and they were over run with work. I have used they before and will do so in the future.

Bid was about 440 dollars. It took one worker an hour to do the job. I went to the company and explained the time to perform the work. The owner took a hundred dollars off the bill.

Sam, the supervisor, at my community gate, impressed me with patience and kindness waiting to enter the neighborhood, as we chatted via phone. At the door he was friendly, courteous and professional. He went out of his way to include my grandchildren in our meeting. I liked him right then. I was anxious to see if he was as knowledgeable as he was professional. So we got started discussing the roof issues. He again took the time to include my six year old granddaughter, asking for her to assist, overseeing tge ladder so he stayed safe! She loved it. He went outside and I went about my daily business very comfortable with his personal integrity. His demeanor and my observations, you know, the kind of feeling that you have nothing to worry about with this guy on your roof, but hoping he really knows roofs too! So 20-30 minutes later he knocks on the front door. Sam comes in and proceeds with his analysis. He first gave me a big picture view. He had thoroughly inspected the roof explaining the positives and the problems where rain had seeped in staining the ceiling. Hmmmm...I'm thinking, I like this company, Elite Roifing. He talked directly to me and very clearly as to WHY the roof leaked and what needed to be done so I don't worry this winter! Then he produced a digital camera and showed with me pictures, explaing further, in greater detail, how to fix the area of concern. He made it so easy to understand I thought, for a split second, that I could do it!:) OK, it was right now, I decided to cancel an appointment with another company, for another estimate. I just did not need to call anyone else. This company has INTEGRITY!! I did not even have the dollar estimate yet and I gotta tell ya, I was not concerned, knowing it would be fair. Thank you, Sam. So I soon got an estimate via text from Tim Mortan, the owner and continued interactions with he and the co-owner, Teresa Mortan, Tim's wife. All communication was professional and pleasant. The roof was repaired on schedule by another employee wrapping up our business. Ah, but more good news. Sam had explained that Elite Roofing will come out every two years to give the roof a "checkup"! This will prevent a very minor repair from getting bigger. Yay! See you in 2916 Elite Riofing. Sam was awesome. He came out and did an extremely through and detailed inspection. He told me about the dry rot in the tails and in the chimney. He measured the amount of insulation I already had. Out of all the roofers that came out to give me a quote, Sam was the most honest about the problems. Sam’s estimate was one of two estimates that included the price for fixing the dry rot. The final price was almost spot-on with Sam’s estimate.
The roofers showed up on the date they were suppose to show up; kudos to Elite for that. However, Sam and Tim both assured me this was going to be a 3-day job. The job took 5 days. There was a one day delay because their shingle supplier ran out of shingles. I got 2 conflicting stories about why there was a second one-day delay—the roofer lead got sick and it was too hot to lay down shingles.
The good: The roof looks great (it hasn’t rained yet so I don’t yet know how water tight the new roof is). Sam or Tim did show up at the job site, about once a day, to check on the work. Also, I got to switch from a 30-year shingle to a 40-shingle at the end of the first day.
The bad: It took 5 days instead of 3. On the first day, the workers, when they were backing up the truck, hit my gutters; I was getting the gutters replaced, so, in this case, it was no big deal. On the second and fourth day, all the workers left in the middle of the day without telling me what was going on.
Caution: You want to move all your breakables as far away from the roof line as possible. Lots of debris falls from the roof and lands on the ground. Also, there are lots of electrical cords, air compressor hoses, and other stuff dangling from the room and touching the ground; these cords and hoses will knock down your garden ornaments. If you leave the door to the garage unlocked, the workers, without asking, will enter the garage; in my case, they were looking for additional electrical outlets. I would have let them use the outlets, if they asked—they should have asked first. And, if you are not getting your gutters replaced, you might want to keep on eye on your gutters as they tear off the old roof—they are not gentle on the old gutters. Also, the new gutter replacement is contracted out.

"Thank you for your review. We were happy that you were impressed with Sam and our estimate for the dry-rot and re-roof we 'spot-on' and you are happy with your new roof however I am sorry to hear about your 3 day to 5 day re-roof project. I will attempt to address this issue: The delay was due to the upgrade of material - after the first day- you made after we completed the dry-rot areas. Due to this last minute change in material from a 30 yr to 40 yr shingle our supplier did not have any in stock. We attempted to get the material as soon as possible and complete your job as soon as we could, but due to this last minute change it was out of our hands. We do apologize. Regarding the 'second-delay' we did have a very hot day where one our our workers did experience some heat exhaustion and it did become too hot to lay the shingles, however we do apologize if that wasn't relayed to you at the time. Also, because of the delay in delivery, we were not able to have as many crew members on your project as we were trying to keep on schedule with all projects. Our roofers normally don't bother the homeowners (or tenants) with their departure, but we will address that in our meeting this Friday. Re-roofing is a VERY messy & dirty job and yes unfortunately debris is all part of process thus you may recall the "Preparing For Our Arrival" form that you were given & signed that details the process of our work. It explains exactly what to expect during our work, (the mess, cords, needing access to electric, debris falling, clearing of the driveway, removal of outside items that maybe breakable, pets, access to yards, etc) This form explains all the items you listed in your review as a concern for the homeowner to be aware of thus why we have this form - to prepare them for our arrival. We also state that if the garage is open our crews will enter to broom/blow out any debris from the garage. Again we are sorry that they entered the garage for electric without asking please rest assured our employees have been with us many years and are background checked. However we will address this also in our Friday meeting. Again we thank you for your kind words and feedback. With your feedback we can find ways to improve our service."

We are selling a rental home and needed a new roof. I contacted Elite Roofing and made an appointment for a quote. This very personable and honest mam met me at the house. Sam Threet was a joy to work with and very honest and professional. He made all the arrangements, showed me samples, was always in contact with me with updates and the job status. His crew arrives on time, did a great job and cleaned up the job site. I would highly recommend Elite. They were not the lowest of the quotes I received but they were second to lowest with the highest professionalism and most personable service. We were and are extremely happy with Elite. Thanks to Sam and his workers for providing us with a great experience and a beautiful new roof.

They did a great job. They were there when they said they would be, and it took less time than they estimated it would. There was a problem with water shooting over the gutters in one spot, we called, and somebody came out to fix it right away. We seem to be in a drought right now, but when it finally rained in early February we didn't experience any problems.

Sam from Elite Roofing responded quickly to my call regarding a new roof to half the home's total roof. He came, inspected, spoke with us regarding what the job would entail and if we had concerns/questions. We had a couple of estimates by other roofers , one who told us that the other half of the roof may need to be reroofed as well. Sam, not only gave us a competitive price but assured us that the other half of the roof was in good condition and wouldn't need any work. We were impressed with his straightforwardness and appreciated his honesty.
The workers were punctual, hardworking and advised us of any concerns/requirements that they might have had when they were on the jobsite. They tarped the areas needed and removed any debris, including tree branches that were in the way of the roofing job. The entire job took 2 1/2 days, as was approximated by Sam and we were happy that it was finished so swiftly without any undue interruptions.
We would definitely use Elite Roofing's services again and are happy to recommend to friends/family.
