Barnett Home Care

The crew arrived ? The father, Mr. Barnett brought his machine to buff the floors, the son was to wash the windows inside and out and two women who behaved as if they were related were to do the house cleaning (the house was empty). I left the house to them because we were no longer living in the house and our realtors assured us that we would be happy with the outcome. I arrived shortly after they called (5 hours later) to say they were done. I was happy with the newly buffed floors. I inspected the windows and was very disappointed. They were streaked and no effort was made to rub-off any hardened mud on the outside windows. I was very upset and went from room to room pointing out dirt. Mr. Barnett kept telling me that this was the best that could be done. I opened some windows and stuck my hand out and started rubbing the dirt off with my hand to show him how much better it could have been. He finally knocked $40 off the bill. Unfortunately my children were now dismissed from school and I had to pick them up. I left my husband to finish the inspection. My husband unfortunately doesn?t deal with confrontation so he was happy to write the company a check and have them go on their merry way once I left. I was home in 10 minutes ? they were gone as well as all my cleaning supplies I left there for touch-ups (brooms, mops, rakes, cleaners ect..) I discovered the girls did an even worse job as if they had no clue how to clean. I found what appeared to be some sort of greasy murphys oil soap or pine sol layer over all my bathrooms. Nothing was scrubbed. I had to go back and remove the oily cleaner and scrub myself. The kitchen was not touched ? luckily the kitchen was new but the counters were not even wiped down and they left the coffee ring from my morning coffee cup on the counter. My husband said that when he pointed it out to them as they were leaving they started arguing with each other as to who brought a drink into the house. Apparently they didn?t understand that it was my spill but they were expected to wipe it up during their cleaning job. Awful is all I can say about this company. Mr. Murphy do not use your children to help you with your business. These were all adult children and still destructive to one?s livelihood. Since my husband works I had to go back and clean the windows as well as the bathrooms for free. We told the realtors thinking they would make some efforts to making the wrong ? right, since they told us to use this company. No dice ? the realtors pocketed 3% of the sale. The house sold in 3 days for over a half a million dollars. Thanks to my free labor.
