I am NOT critical of the vendor as much as I am very unhappy with HomeAdvisor. I had a lengthy conversation with booking agent explaining special circumstances of the cleaning and that I must speak to the people BEFORE THEY COME. We intentionally push the back the appointment by 3 hours so that a conversation in advance would be possible. No call was received, we made additional attempts to contact the cleaner in advance leaving a message stating that a phone call was necessary. Call was not returned and we were then later notified cleaner was on the way. We opted to cancel knowing full well that an unprepared cleaner would be arriving. The system then informed us that there would be no refund. A full refund is warranted based on promises made and not kept by HomeAdvisor.
