I was working on a mid-70's contemporary property, with a flat roof.  Had no idea it leaked.. until it leaked.  I mean we didn't test the property by shooting a hose up on the roof, but next time we're checking a property we will.  We realized roof probably had zero work done to it on 35 years so maybe it was time?......

Leon was recommended by an electrician friend, who said Leon had done his house.  I called, met Leon.  He's a salt of the earth guy.  He didn't b.s., I could immediately tell he was hardworking.  And besides the electrician told me the extent of the work Leon did, and it was extensive.

My job wasn't crazily complicated.  It was just a lot of work.  All in all, about 2500 square feet of roof to cover.  We had a polymer substance applied.  They put down tar first, burn it, then seal it with a white vinyly / rubbery substance.  Price was not cheap but Leon and a fairly big crew (maybe 5 people total I think) did the job quickly and cleanly.

We've had the roof on for about a year.  In that time, two leaks did recur.  BUT... as soon as I called Leon, he was out and fixing things.  One leak was very very hard to pinpoint.  It seemed to be via some a/c equipment on the roof, and something as tiny but subsequently consequential as one of the screws used to bolt that equipment into the roof, causing the leak.  What I appreciated was when I called Leon and said there is a leak he was immediately out.  He did not argue or try to say it was who ever installed the a/c's fault b/c he ie punctured the roof.  (You know how these become a game of he said she said... or rather I didn't do it, he did...).  I never got that runaround from Leon.  He simply got right to the problem, crawling around on the roof to figure out what's going on and trying to fix it.  He never asked for a subsequent fee.  He fixed the problem with no hassle, no excuse.  That's the kind of contractor I need and want.

No problems recommending Leon.  He does an excellent job.
