 + -1 moreCindy did an outstanding job. She arrived on time and almost immediately understood what had to happen. Her most valuable service was acting as an advocate/liaison between me and AT&T. She knew what to ask for, and spent probably an hour on the phone with them navigating their bureaucracy. AT&T had to send someone out to make the final connection, but nobody would have known what the problem was without Cindy's expertise.
Description of Work: I needed to get the phone lines hooked up in my condo so that I could receive DSL service.

Description of Work: Ed Carter moved several cables (phone, ethernet, usb) around in our office and hid them in a conduit. He also installed wall plates which keep all the connections neat and clean.

Description of Work: Both of the phones in my house suddenly stopped working - lots of static or dead silence. I joined Angie's List because I had no idea how to find someone to help me. Cindy Henderson of K.I.S.S.S. Communications was unbelievably helpful! Over the phone (I was using the outside phone jack which was still working), FREE OF CHARGE, she gave me some suggestions as to how I could trouble shoot and maybe even fix the problem. As it turned out, the problem was too difficult to remedy "long distance" and I asked her to make a service call. But I was so impressed that she would happy to give me a chance to do-it-myself and forgo a fee.

 + -1 moreThe service was great! I called on Monday morning, left a message, and my call was returned within a few hours. The message on the answering machine gave the installation prices. The telephone jack was installed on Tuesday morning. She answered all of my questions and was polite. I immediately felt comfortable with her and had pleasant conversation. Very professional, very courteous.
Description of Work: Installed a phone jack. She ran a wire under the carpet, drilled a hole through a wall and ran the line into a room that is unfinished. She gave me instructions on how to attach the phone jack box to the wall once the drywall is up. She left the area very clean.

Description of Work: AGENT WAS ABLE TO INSPECT PHONE LINE IN THE HOME, AND CROSS REFERENCE THE LINE TO INSTALL A NEW PHONE JACK.
