"Email Sent 4/18/17 No response from customer Hi [Member Name Removed] & [Removed Member Name], Clearly, there have been problems. I'm sorry that things didn't go well with your installation. I can't undo that. But I feel that we have been professional and responsive to your concerns and our problems. The installer that showed up late and was not able to complete your installation was terminated. Was there any permanent damage to your home or furniture from the leak? (No claim was made) The PVC part that leaked was a $1 part. We don't carry around used fittings or parts at all. It was a threaded fitting that split weeks after we had installed it. We have a labor warranty for manufacturer defects or problems with our installation. This warranty covers any and all of these problems. We have an excellent reputation because we take care of our customers. Not because we have never had a problem. Problems will happen. Leaks happen. Your system has over 100 connections on it. 2 leaked. What more could we have done? "Thank you for the review [Member Name Removed]! I really enjoyed working with you and[Member Name Removed]."
So far, we are very pleased with the quality of the water - it tastes great (that is ... it has no taste!), and it seems to be doing a better job on our laundry and dishes. My husband has very sensitive skin, and he thinks that his skin is improving with the change in water. So, it is doing exactly what we wanted!
The only negative is that it is pretty pricey ... though all these systems are pricey.
Soon after my review I received a call from Richard concerning my dissatisfaction with the refurbished unit I purchased for my mother. I explained to Richard that the unit had been repaired a number of times and still was not working to my satisfaction. Richard listened to my concerns and frustration and then told me he wanted one more opportunity to repair the unit at no additional cost !! I appreciated his willingness to repair the unit and a repair date was scheduled. The repair technician was on time and upon inspection of the unit discovered a small crack in the top of the unit. I technician explained to me that the crack was allowing air to enter the unit which caused the malfunction. The unit was repaired and after a year I have had no further problems the unit.
Thank you Richard for making good on your product !! When it comes time to replace my unit I will again buy from Hague Quality Water.

"Thank you for the review. I didn't hear anything about misplacing your files, but I see that we serviced your system regularly until 2012. Unfortunately you didn't have the system long enough to see the value of all the money you spent on that equipment. A conventional water softener would last 10 years on average. I do have a comment on a statement you made in your review. "If you have unlimited money, then I would recommend them. If not, there are comparable units that cost much less." There are no comparable units for less money, or even more money. If you think you purchased a water softener, then I agree you would have paid too much. You invested in a whole house filtration system backed by an industry leading warranty of 25 years. That system will remove the chlorine and chemicals from the water as well as soften it. No softener will remove chlorine, and no filter will be guaranteed for 25 years. You had a very special piece of equipment. I wish you had taken the system with you. I don't apologize for our price. We offer the best equipment and the best service in the industry. You had me out to your new home to check your water system. I found that your "contractor installed Costco RO" was making worse water than what was coming out of your tap. I'm glad I was able to point that out to you, but in this business you really do get what you pay for. I appreciate your business and I will be happy to help you anytime you need it. - Eric Foronjy"
