Working with the retail store, we had a knowledgeable and helpful individual.  We customized the spa so that it needed to be delivered from the factory.  Delivery came slower than expected, but we were flexible.
When their installation guy came over, he told me it would not fit through the side yard and required a crane for installation.    The Installation guy said, as an alternative, he could take down a section of the fence, bring it through the side, then rebuild the fence.  I was completely OK with that.  I asked that my sales guy call me back.
Call back - Sales guy said there was no way he was going to be liable for fence tear down and replace.  I confirmed that the sale was still 100% refundable.  I waved liability for the fence and their installation guy came out, tore down a small section of the fence, and replaced it perfectly.
installation was excellent.  Their crew was spot on and went out of their way to make things perfect.
The Spa, which is using the "chlorine free" system works pretty well.   It has an "ozonator" to keep it germ free.  There are other "BAQUA Spa" chemicals I add to keep it "crystal clear".  Do NOT believe that you will have clear water.  I find just the opposite.  The water is always slightly cloudy.
I called to have it serviced, made an appointment.  waited all day.  End of the day I received a call indicating they ran late and were not able to come.  I emptied the water myself, cleaned everything I could find, refilled it.  After adding the chemicals, it was cloudy again.  I have to remove a residue from the waterline every couple weeks, as well.  I suppose it should be expected since we use it often and it is a closed system.
The big advantage to the "chlorine free" system is that you get out of the hot tub and you don't smell.  That said,  I sure wish i could attain the crystal clear water I was sold on in the show room.
Response from Tradewind Spas
"We are very happy Mr. [member name removed]'s delivery went so well and that he was happy. Normally we do not do construction work as part of delivery. Additionally, we did the work for Mr. [member name removed] at no charge. We are sorry that he is having difficulty taking care of his water . We have left several messages for him to call so we can help him with his water condition, but he has not returned our call. It is not unusual for new spa owners to have a little difficulty with their water. We are open 7 days a week to help. Also, we do offer free water testing to all our customers."

We recently moved into a new house and wanted to fix up and clean the spa that was on the property. Tradewind Spas was offering an inspection and detail special which I scheduled for them to perform on 9/17. Upon inspecting the spa several issues were discovered and no detail was performed by the technician. At no point did the technician mention that anything more than an inspection was performed and he actually said that I would not get charged for the detail. Days later I find out that I was in fact charged for 1.5 hours of labor instead of the 10-point inspection. (which was $49.95) Several calls with Tradewind Spas asking for clarification did not change anything and I was left with a bitter taste in my mouth from the whole experience. I would not recommend Tradewind Spas to anyone, there are more professional companies out there that will not nickel and dime you.

UPDATE: After disputing the charge with my credit card company I received a prompt call from Tradewinds Spas. They informed me that they reviewed the services provided and now wanted to only charge me for the original inspection promotion. I was happy to hear that this issue was resolved professionally, but frustrated at the amount of "arm twisting" required. The spa has since been removed from the property so I thankfully do not have to even consider using their services again.

Tradewind Spas expertly removed the old tub (working in a tight space) and installed the new one. As this was a gift, Jeff, Don and the rest of the crew not only delivered exactly on time (with noise makers and party hats!) but worked with my fiancee to ensure that they kept the secret. With a relatively small team they worked like an experienced pit crew dismantling the old tub, installing the new one and the new electrical. The tub was delivered in the early afternoon and we were relaxing in it the very same evening. Absolutely top rate! A few days after installation we received a followup call from Jeff to answer any questions and ensuring we were happy with the tub. Thoroughly professional, extremely knowledgeable and absolutely pressure free. Couldn't be happier!

Although we already had a pool, we knew nothing about spas. We visited the showroom several times to look again, check out the various seat configurations once more and ask a few more questions. Jan was patient with all our questions and answered them thoroughly. She was very helpful in asking us questions so that she could better help us decide on the perfect spa features for us. We did visit several other showrooms but decided to go with Tradewind Spas as they were the most forthcoming with answers and suggestions so that we would end up with the spa of our dreams. We had a wonderful experience dealing with Tradewind Spas!

We purchased a spa from Tradewind Spas. Jeff, the salesman, was very courteous and professional. The installers were prompt and were able to get the spa through a very tight walkway beside our house. They have been helpful answering questions weve had after weve been using our spa.

I HAVE BEEN USING TRADEWINDS SPA FOR ALL MY REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE ON MY SPA. THEY ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND THOROUGH. THEY ALWAYS INQUIRE ABOUT THE DOG, AND MAKE SURE THE GATE IS CLOSED BEHIND THEM BEFORE LEAVING TO MAKE SURE THE DOG DOES NOT GET OUT.
