The Honey Ladies

They removed siding to get to bees, vacuumed out the bees, removed the comb and honey, and resealed the space.

Turned up on time same-day, inspected the house and made an appointment for the next day to actually do the removal. They came, they saw, they comquered. And they guarantee the entire house for a year from the date they removed the nest. Can't ask for more, really.

Dealing with the Honey Ladies was a breeze from start to finish. Yellow jackets had built a nest inside a hole (made by gophers) in my front lawn. A couple of weeks earlier, I had another company come and "treat" the nest with pesticides, without success. I reached Wendy (company owner) directly by phone. She was very efficient and kind in listening to me describe my situation and in scheduling a time to come. She came the very next morning! Also, on the phone she told me the price (which the other company I'd had come had refused to do) and she stuck with it.
When she came to my property, she got suited up to protect herself from stings (in a bee suit). She vacuumed out the yellow jackets alive, to be released later in a distant location. Then she dug up the nest, removing it along with the bees inside. No pesticides, no mess. Just a hole that I later closed up, a couple of days afterwards. She was very careful in the way she removed the lawn around the nest hole, so that I was able to replace it easily on top after I filled the hole in.
She followed up by email to check on how things were progressing (whether the bees were back), and answered some follow-up questions that I had. She had said she would return at no charge if the insects continued to create a problem, but it's been two weeks and the yellow jackets are gone! I would absolutely recommend The Honey Ladies to anyone with a bee or wasp problem.
