I spoke to Jason on Friday afternoon. He agreed to take a look on the following Monday. He explained that the longer the honeybees had to establish a honeycomb, the more successful he could be in capturing the all-important queen within. Jason called on Monday when he was en route, and arrived about 15 minutes later. He donned his gear and vacuumed the bees into a shop vac retrofitted with screened holes. Then Jason detached the wax honeycomb from the fence. The entire operation took just over two hours. The bees have a new home in Pescadero, near the coast. I am very pleased that I did not have to kill the bees or use insecticide in my tiny yard. My goal is to support pollinators by putting the fountain, flowers and herbs in this very small yard on the flight plan of every local hummingbird, butterfly and bee. Jason was very professional and focused. He explained the entire process. This was not a job that my husband or I could have done ourselves. I would use Humble Bee Removal again if necessary.

A swarm of bees established a nest in the roof through the ridge vent.   I called Humble Bee Removal and they were able to come out in a couple of days to remove the swarm, which involved opening the roof up.  Humble Bee Removal explained the process, and coordinated with the roofer so that the roof was put back together, and bee proof potential entry points.

During the weekend we discovered a nest of yellow jackets in the ground of our parking strip, at the base of a small tree. I learned that quite a few pest exterminators won't deal with wasp family insects (bees, yellow jackets, etc.), then I found Humble Bee Removal listed here ? and according to the website, they would remove yellow jackets.
I called on a Monday, and Jason answered the phone and arranged an onsite appointment for early that evening. He arrived, cordoned off the area and politely asked neighbors to avoid walking on our part of the sidewalk for the next day or two. After a few hours, he had removed the nest and sprayed (minimally, with the least toxic/noxious anti-wasp spray) the region. There was minimal digging involved, and the small tree remained fine.
I'd definitely recommend Humble Bee Removal! He also removes and relocates honey bees, as he is an avid beekeeper.
Important note: I don't know how to to correct this, but he is actually located on the San Mateo Peninsula, not in Los Gatos. However, we're located in the South Bay, so he does cover that part of the SF Bay Area.

Great service. Absolutely professional. The initial contact happened via voicemail and got prompt, immediate responses. The bee swarm was quite large and the owner came and vaccumed them off. Worked a couple of hours and got it cleared. Removed some branches and cleared them away too. I had to pay an additional 25 USD because he was coming over from Santa Cruz over to the Peninsula but we discussed this upfront and I was okay with it Overall I'd highly recommend this provider. I hope I don't have to ever call him again! But if I need to, I'll surely be calling him again.

We had an issue with yellow jackets getting in my home. The provider advised to find the queen and that would resolve the issue for the upcoming season. We had two bee traps and he cleaned them out. He put in two hours of work. Everything was clean and beautifully done. He is a bee keeper and not just an exterminator. He is honest and honorable and does an excellent job.

Fortunately he was in the neighborhood so he was able to make it here within the hour after I called. He came out, explained the process, suited up, removed the hive and left -- all within an hour. I'm sooooooooo glad I didn't try to dig out the hive myself. I had set out a pair of traps for a couple of weeks, but didn't see any diminution of activity. Also I thought of spraying it myself, but I fear that woudn'a done it. As he explained with his guarantee, I understand it will take a few days for the swarm to quiet down.

Jason came out to remove a wasp's nest from a bathroom vent. He arrived right when he said he would, told me exactly what he would be doing, and quickly got to work. After about 20 minutes, he showed me several years' worth of nest that the wasps had been building up. He explained how he had bee-proofed the vent so the wasps can no longer get into the house. He also removed a couple of stray wasps that were flying around in the house. It's been a week since he was here and there hasn't been a wasp inside since.

Jason gave me his prices over the phone and charged exactly what he said he would.

I used them in my California home. The guy did a very good job. I had to have a scaffold put up very high. Jason is the man. He came in and he had his own man that did the scaffolding. He suggested someone and then he removed the bees. They had gotten into the hanging roof and he suggested a very good man for repairing the roof. I was very pleased with the work that he did. He charged $775 for removing the bees and then he told me that if I wanted he would come back after the roof was repaired and make sure that everything was sealed properly so that the bees don't come back. They had been there before and they had come back. He did come back and do that which was another $150. I would use him again in the future if need be.

I called Humble Bee on a Saturday because of a sudden steady stream of bees going in and out of my attic.. The owner (Jason? I'm so sorry I can't remember his name!) called back shortly after my initial call to discuss the problem and booked an appointment for Monday, based on my description of the bee behavior and the fact no one in the house is allergic to bees. Fortunately by the time he arrived, the bees had mostly left. He investigated to make sure they had really gone, then blocked their entrance point.

He was very careful to make sure the work looked right on the house; my husband didn't even notice what was done until I pointed it out.

I was really impressed by his knowledge of bee behavior and removal. I also liked the fact that he will remove the hive without harming it. I would definitely call him again if I had bees or wasps, and recommend Humble Bee without reservation..

Talked to Jason about the timing of the job a few weeks prior. He came out a few days before the roofers were going to start. He checked the entire roof and took care of the problem areas.

He did a whole inspection of our house and carried out treatment for wasps and other stinging insects. He located the place where they were coming from and put up a board and solved the problem. He did an excellent job.

Met me at my house at my earliest convenience. He is very personable and enthusiastic about what he does. He showed my daughter and I the removed honeycomb (absent the bees) and shared his knowledge of bees with us. This was so much more satisfying than having an exterminator kill the bees. He charges $150/hr., which is his minimum fee.

It was great, I called them up and they came right out and took care of the problem. I never met the people. I gave them a call and they came out removed the Bees and left the bill on the Porch. Hope I don't need them again but I know who I'll call if I do.
