Carrillo Antenna

Mr. Carrillo had not been contacted by you about my project. He says Angies's List has NEVER contacted him, though he says many customers have the same story as me. You need to communicate with him better. (He has no computer.) Nevertheless, he scheduled me for the next day, arrived on time, worked hard to make everything work as well as it could, dealt with unforeseen complications, cleaned up - even took away the old antenna. I'm happy.

Came out quickly. Was able to reset the rotator and reposition the antenna. Pointed out potential safety issue with controller and advised me to disconnect once antenna was positioned properly. Did not try to sell new equipment or system. Very professional, knew what he was doing.

Frank is very knowledgeable. He identified the problem with signal degradation and installed a roof antenna.

He did a great job. He arrived exactly when he said that he would and provided us with a nice professional installation. He's been in business a long time, is very experienced and knowledgeable, and can offer appropriate advice for anyone unsure of their needs. We're very pleased with his work and highly recommend his services.

Frank was a very professional contractor, very knowledgeable about his work. Did the job throughly and even when i had problems with Comcast he stuck around and helped me get everything done. We went over the time quoted and he wouldn't let me pay more for his extra time. Very honest. I actually ended up using him in other small projects. glad to know him.

Great. Frank came in and assessed the project and quickly gave an estimate. He returned several days later to complete the job and did everything we agreed to and more.
As he was in the project, I asked for some changes, and he handled them without issue.
Since then. I've hired Frank to come back and help with other small projects.
I will use Frank in the future for all my wiring needs.

Work done was excellent

Carillo Antenna is a great vendor, and would, without a doubt, recommend his service, as well as use his service again. He arrived on time, and we proceeded to do a walk through. We discussed options, and then decided on the price, which was inline with the quote, however I wanted a few additional items done. He completed the work professionally in about 2.5 hours. I wrote him a check, and he was on his way.

Frank came in and installed a Channelmaster HD antenna on my roof and then ran all the wiring in the walls for tv, ethernet and phone to a number of rooms in the house. He did a great job! I was surprised when we turned on the tv, I had 80 new digital channels over the air and he aligned this by sight, he offered to to tune, but I didn't see the need to do anything further with the antenna. I despise unsightly wiring on the external of the house and though it was a little more effort, Frank installed all of the cabling in the walls. What's more he did this quickly and cleaned up after himself, so I didn't know he was there except for the added capabilities. I don't typically recommend work, but in this case, I think he did a fantastic job and would highly recommend him

I called several contractors on a Saturday about installing an antenna, and Frank was the first contractor to respond to my call. I mostly knew what I wanted, but I wanted to get advice from a pro, and if an antenna had to be installed on the roof (as I suspected), I needed said pro to be able to do the installation. Frank came to my house that day to give me a free estimate. We discussed three separate options, and his experience showed. He gave me advice, and in the end, I opted for a brand new antenna, to be attached to the roof. Frank gave me a quote of $225, including parts, labor, even the antenna itself (a Channel Master 4228HD). Frank came the next day to do the installation work, and he was punctual, courteous, and skilled. The only negative I can think of is that--because the cable was wired along the outside of the house--the result was not as aesthetically pleasing as it could have been. But that approached saved us money, and for the price (as compared to punching a hole into the attic and wiring through the house), I accept the compromise, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Outstanding. Was able to give me total cost over the phone, and although the job was a little bit more work than he expected, he didn't charge me extra. showed up on time, finished on time, and called ahead.

I needed to replace my existing Dish Networks satellite dishes with a new one to continue to receive international channels and as Dish Networks won't do anything other than very simple installs I was left on my own to figure out how to make it happen! Fortunately, Frank had the knowledge and the equipment to swap out the dishes, secure the new dish on a pole and allign it to the new satellite(s).

I have one TV in my house and a roof antenna. I added the converter box early in 2008 and had great reception. Beginning in late February 2009, I began losing channels! First it was channel 2, then channel 4. I researched transmissions, televisions, updated the scanning, and everything I could think of as I continued to lose channels. By last week I was down to only channel 11. I considered buying an HDTV though my Sony TV is only 5 years old. Turns out that HDTVs use outdoor antennas too so I was still looking at an antenna problem. I turned to Angie's List and was thrilled that they had a category for TV Antennas. Who would guess? I had 3 choices in the A category. I picked the company that sounded best, and it was Frank Carrillo. I was very pleased that he was honest and he did not try to sell me a new antenna as the solution when it might not have been. He was businesslike, cordial, and honest and that made him a 1st class choice for repeat business.

Contact Mr Carillow by phone discuss the project. Came to the home and installed antenna for HD and FM reception to two locations in the home. Nice job of hiding the wires. Professional wall wiring. Provided HD cables for in home connection.

Frank installed DTV antennas for us in two different locations in San Francisco. Both locations had very distinct problems. At the first location, the house was blocked by a hill from seeing San Bruno mountains. But Frank found a solution to still receive the signal from that tower (and of course, also from Sutro tower on Twin Peaks). The second location was even more challenging, as we kept suffering from severe interference, multi-pathing and saturation. Frank tested a big assortment of different antennas until eventually installing one that now works perfectly. Before that, we had never been able to reliably receive over-the-air TV at this location. Frank had given us an estimate of $250 per location prior to starting the project. And despite the fact that it took him much longer than anticipated to resolve the reception problems at the second location, he stayed within budget.

Frank figured out which connectors to use for our new HD TV and HD TV cables. He spelled out the myriad of options on how to blend with our current cable service. He used good connectors and fasteners (no staples). He took our old TV antenna to discard. Frank helped us program our new HD TV to work with the new antenna. He provided very good explanations on each step. He cleaned up after the job. The work took about 2 hours.

They were easy to work with. He was a nice guy. I would use them again in the future and would recommend to others.

Mr. Carillo called back promptly. I told him my street address and he looked up the address on www.antennaweb.org and suggested an antenna. He drove by the house and looked to see what would obstruct the antenna (the neighbor's roof, the palm trees, etc). He arrived on time and cleaned up afterward. He took the time to aim the antenna and then checked to make sue I received the channels. He promised to return if there was a problem. I am very happy with the antenna and pick up stations as far away as 70 miles.

We had been unable to get all of our TV stations and called Frank to help. He came on time and evaluated the many wires, cables, and connections. He fixed the antenna and solved the problem. We will be requesting additional services from him.

Frank showed up to my house with my new antenna and mast on-time and went to work right away taking down the old antenna. Installation of the antenna and cable runs were done with care and professionalism. He cleaned up all the debris and left me with a receipt and a two year warranty. It was a good experience.

I previously had a new antenna installed. It was not positioned high enough so I was not getting very good reception. After he performed the work, he checked through all the channels to be sure the reception was good and made some necessary adjustments to the direction of the antenna. He was very friendly and came on time.

He was a very nice man and very professional. He knew just what to do.
